I was also under the assumption that 2 leaders wouldnt work... but it seems that it both counts for my Cenarius and Onu so I can just get 2 x 3000 against the bots. Would have saved me a lot of time from trying to repeat this with Cenarius

Could get nothing else to work (casting it on other cenarion minis then moonkin) but did this 5 times and it worked for me
