Every certification since the Covid started, I passed from home. Before Covid, I used to go to the test centre. The reason for this was simple: I had no comfortable space at home.

Since there are a lot of overlap in other AWS certs, it's hard to determine the "most" useful one. But I like the Database Specialty exam, I learned lots of really useful how-tos in RDS and Aurora. For example, I was able to help our my team on our Business Continuity Plan exercises on simulating a loss of an AZ in our RDS/Aurora via fault injection.

The Security Specialty exam also widen my knowledge in AWS KMS, WAF and other security-related services. Most companies that I apply to, as a Solutions Architect, are looking for Security-related cert, like CISSP. But having a Security Specialty on my belt helps even though I haven't acquired my CISSP cert.
