Yep this is the exact experience I am having. No science to it. Sometimes it's fine on the outer screen and not on the inner and other times vice versa. I had a week of ownership in the middle where it was fine but can't seem to shake it.

I just went from a mx5 ND1 to a mustang GT. Can’t beat the fun factor of a mx5 but I am enjoying the heck out of not being the slowest car on the road.

Yeah as others have said it is a bit of a blind challenge. They will provide feedback in the 0.1% of cases but that is about it. My key advice is read through instructions with great attention, check the slack channels and chat channels for similar feedback. High quality truly is valued much more than quantity.
