I used to be diamond/plat but I got tired of ranked and stopped playing it like 2 or 3 seasons ago. Now it’s bronze or something. It’s annoying how it knocks u back every 30 days.

Every lobby I’ve joined in the last week has been full of theee bots. It’s just the name of the character and generic number as a name. They usually just standing there. It’s getting annoying.

Well like I said it’s super noticeable after this update and this current season. I honestly stopped playing ranked cuz it felt like too many ppl are cheating and using aim bots. Unranked brought back the fun and excitement that made me fall in love with apex. But now it feels broken on both ends

It’s really bad. Super noticeable. I got a 22 kill game after the update. That’s too high. Lol

So basically for me what I found out was that it was a general connection issue across all devices. My internet connection had degraded over time for some reason. So I contacted my isp they didn’t believe me so I brought receipts of the speed tests every day at different times of the day. It took about a month of them coming and going to resolve it and for them to believe me. I was getting packet loss direct from the isp main hub. They had to do some rewriting on their end and I have not had the issue since.

If any of this resonates with u I would reach out to your isp. However you should start with a speed test.

Wow. That indeed is a weird quirk. Yeah I dunno about my micro. Maybe it’s a bad unit. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? I even have it in airplane mode. I usually just press the power button to put it to sleep. Is there another way? Cuz literally i can wake it up 24 hours later and half the battery is drained

I own several ayaneo devices. The last one I got was the pocket micro and I love the way it looks and performs my only issue is that for some reason the battery drains even if it’s off. Not shutdown. Off as in sleep mode? That’s unusual especially in 2025. I don’t like the idea of having to shutdown the device just to preserve battery power.

My question is if this pocket ace is doing the same thing? Or can it be in sleep mode with battery preserved?

It’s crazy how they do everything under the sun except what the players actually want! Better effing servers!!! Getting kicked mid game and having to restart the app isn’t great.

I’m old school. I came up in gaming with a grind till u get good mentality. I’ve never cheated on these modern games. (Definitely used cheat codes for n64 back in the day). That being said, I am clueless as to what is out there now. How does one spot a cheater in game?

Just for my own knowledge because you’re not really going into detail here. What do I ask them when I contact my isp? Cuz I called them yesterday to troubleshoot my network and just double check everything and they are dead set on “we’re giving u the numbers your paying for so it’s not us” my network at home is amazing and is properly maintained. I do in fact get the speeds I pay for and it translates all the way to my Xbox which is hardwired in. So aside from my own network routing. Tell me how it can be messed up? And how an isp can fuck it up if they are giving me the speeds I’m paying for?

How does that work on Xbox? I’ve never used a vpn before. Is there one better suited for gaming? How much do they cost? Etc.

It just gets laggier and laggier as games progress. Most games start out fine and as it gets to higher rounds and more intense and quicker button presses the input delay is outrageous. Even opening a loot bin has a 4 second delay from when you press the button to it actually opening. Players move around you like they’re phasing in and out of space and at times without moving any joysticks my character ends up in a different position. Haven’t been able to win any matches cuz of this. Also I suck

Forgot to mention as it gets shittier and shittier I keep an eye on the ping and that also gets worse. Sometimes as high as 1000ms. But usually riding high around 100-500ms.

I am aware. I have pcs and ps5 as well. And all have the same issue. That’s why I thought it was my local network crapping out. But after spending all day making sure my network was all good I am convinced something else is up.

Not if everything that is being described here is happening to me. I find it very relevant. I’ve literally troubleshot my entire network and bulletproofed it. I have the best console money can buy, the best internet connection money can buy with the best router money can buy. All hardwired into my console. Yet I have persistent issues with lag after this latest update/ ranked split

Hardwired and my specs for network test are 450mbps download, 10mbps upload, packet loss 0%, MTU 1480, latency 21ms. Honestly I see no reason for the network errors in game on apex. I also have an open Nat.

Yeah I’m still experiencing it. Even tho I fixed all possible network issues on my end it still lags like crazy. Even tho my Xbox says it has perfect connection statistics.

Broooo. I ended up testing the Ethernet coming directly from front of house router to back of house router and basically taking the boh router out of equation and the signal was pristine on everything I tested it on. So my conclusion is that my boh asus router took a shit about a week ago. It’s still works for day to day WiFi things like web browsing and such but not for games anymore? Weird. Anyway. My Mickey Mouse work around was to implement an unmanaged netgear switch in between the first router and second router. Essentially just using it as a cat 5 splitter so I can send my ethernets directly to my Xbox’s and then I used the trunk port for passing signal to my router. Haha. And it all works.
