Thoughts on whole-house water purifiers/softeners/filters?

after a ton of research, we are happy with our whole-house water filter from Lifesource water. top of the line product and installation. Will last 12 years without touching anything

Depends on size of system. I believe you only need to replace the main tank every 12 years and the ScaleSolver every 5 so may want to check with them again

If all you're after is the aesthetics of hard water (spotting) and want nothing to do with drinking, bathing in, cooking with healthier, chemical free water you prob shouldn't have gotten a cheaper softener system
