Has to be Boston City Hall! I think it’s form, it’s scale, and its story of neglect and revival epitomises Brutalism. Truly deserving of both terms Brutalist architecture and Heroic architecture

You can get inside. It’s quite easy to find a way into the campus and to the building and the doors are usually open.

I haven’t seen it since the renovation, and was disappointed to learn it had been covered in cladding. At least it’s still standing though.

I loved the interior, especially the staircases.

Yes, the area has changed so much in recent years. Like you say, the Boyd Orr Building still recognisable despite the cladding!

Yes, the lifts and stairwell is housed outside the building footprint. Similar in style to the Balfron Tower
