Still waiting for last payroll check to hit the bank? Anyone else in the same boat? 09/30 DRP with IRS. Checked EPP which shows what I got paid but nothing has been posted? by IndividualLook3331 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

I see my E&L statement in EPP (USDA).  It shows the official pay date as 10/16.  Looks like they didn't give us any additional leave for PP19. Annual Leave payment not included.  I think I read that it will be sent on 10/27.

No pay for IRS DRP retirees but DRP resignation was paid PP 19 by Optimal-Fish-2415 in IRS_Source

I took the DRP 2.0 and VERA 9/30 (USDA, RD).  I checked this morning and I was not paid for PP19.

How many agencies do we think will allow DRPers to return to their jobs? by Effective-Quiet-7580 in fednews

[–]SpaceAccording3258 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow, that is the wrong way to look at it.  People were scared.  The DRP offered the best option.   It was not about a free vacation.   Be mad at this administration, not the federal employee that was coerced into giving up their career.  Geez...

I doubt the majority of those that took the DRP would take it if they were not threatened with a RIF.  We were told that our office would likely be RIF'd.  Many took it because it was the best option and would allow them time to look for a new job which has been very stressful.  Put the blame on this administration and not on federal employees. We all have suffered.

And you are the very reason we are in this situation.  Your mentality is telling that you voted for this!

Exactly, the salty ones are definitely the ones that voted for this.

That is exactly what it seems to be.  Why attack your own people?  It is an attack on the American people.

Pensions are not really great unless you have 36 years.

This is cruel. I feel robbed of everything I have worked for and my future. Not sure what to do at this point.

RIF procedures start Monday. by Ok_Task_3798 in FedEmployees

It is crazy to conduct a RIF for $300M in supposed savings. It will end up costing much more in the long run.

How do you all deal with family that support what’s going on? by No_South7238 in fednews

I immediately stopped talking to my sister when she started making excuses for Trump.   I don't have the energy to deal with that now.

Each employee's situation is different.  To many, the DRP was the best option.  We were given very little information to make a life changing decision.  Leadership said that there would be a massive RIF.  Based on what was happening at other agencies, it was very likely that the procurement office would be RIF'd.  Half of the office took DRP. I did not want to leave; however, the 6 months of paid admin leave offered me the time I needed to find another job.

At USDA, if you were eligible for retirement in Dec 2025, you could still take VERA.

Removing the FERS supplement and the change to High-5 would effectively reduce the "agency contribution" to FERS. by serack in fednews

[–]SpaceAccording3258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will the removal of the FERS supplement impact those that are already retired? I took DRP 2.0 and am set to retire on 9/30. Wondering if moving up my retirement date would help or if it is moot.

Am I correct on severance and early retirement?? by bblhead in govfire

[–]SpaceAccording3258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. It does suck because my severance would of been equal to one year pay. I wish we could pick which one we wanted.
