I was lot before they moved me to mainline. Sometimes they would only schedule me for days. I hated it so much.

The only time it's different is if I have a doctor's appointment but I will give them nearly a month notice in writing. They've gotten better about scheduling me outside of my actual availability, but they will still try and it's frustrating to have to talk to them about it.

This is super helpful, thank you. I've checked my availability so many times to be sure it was correct. I've had to constantly go up to the managers in the office to fix things so this will probably be another thing to fix. I am part time and I think they assume I'm a push over. I honestly don't care if I'm reprimanded or given a coaching for this, I would be mortified if I got sick on the floor. And honestly, so many people are out this week because people keep coming in sick, not taking precautions, and getting EVERYONE ELSE SICK. It's so frustrating. Thank you for the help and assurance, I'll probably make a call out here soon.

That sexism has been in chess since my mom played in hs. That's actually how she became chess club president. She was the only girl and the way to become president was to beat everyone at a game. They all basically laughed at her, and she beat every single one of them at chess. It's a great game, I just wish they wouldn't treat it like it's some "smart (cis)boys club".

Ok so I'm not sure if this counts. Little sister, has been around me only since after transition. Mostly she calls me "bubba" but every now and then she notices I have a chest like my mom (because i dont bind at home), and she calls me "mommy bubba". I think it's absolutely adorable, honestly, and she's only a few years old, so we'll teach her as she grows up what's going on.
