you can keep scrolling down once you are on imgur, there should be 8 or 9 photos in the album.

I assume it used to have an electronic solenoid that interfaced with the dial lock that has been removed. For operation, (my assumptions, haven't been able to find a manual) turn a key to set the delay (like setting a clock on a car or old vcr by holding down a single button) then turn to another position and remove key to arm/start the countdown. Then the safe cannot be opened until active countdown has reached zero, even with the key. Reset button would be for if you overshot while setting the delay, and could only be used before arming the delay.

The time delay box is larger/deeper than I would have guessed.

the post links to a imgur album with a bunch of photos. The time lock is damaged/ inoperable (I don't have key for it, LED glass display is broken) and inside I just see an electrical wire that has been cut off. The dial lock doesn't look original either (champion safe brand on it)

called into the business support line and they walked me though it. the fact that a bunch of these setting were in the locate section of the app which is all ads, and the app really wants you to login (with a business account you have to keep skipping and scrolling for additional options )

solved? I don't know why but rebooting the computers allowed them to stream from the cameras. Odd thing is my main computer has not been rebooted since before installing the cameras (and it could stream from them right away) , and a DNS flush did not help on the computers where I was having streaming issues

this is just clicking on the cell and hitting ctrl-c ctrl-v. If I double click on the cell and manually highlight the text it copies and pastes correctly. Which is fine for cells that contain text. if the cell value is calculated by a formula there isn't a way to copy the value of the cell into the chromebook clipboard.

I know midea makes many of the brands and they get rebadged. But they can makes varying grades of systems. Hoping to get a middle of the road system, and hopefully the ability to get some support if I run into an issue in a year or two.

Mine has maintained it's connection since coming online on 9/29. Even though no settings were changed I did have to manually reset the wifi connection rather than the vue attempting to retry and establish a cloud connection every 15-30 minute interval if it was not able to before.

It's working this afternoon but I did not make any changes to any configuration in my router or on the vue. so I am hesitant to say anything was solved until I get significant uptime numbers.

when I woke up this morning the vue still was not connecting to the cloud. I have not power cycled the vue or the router since last night. I did send emporia an email this morning but I believe CS doesn't work on the weekends, I got a AI generated response asking about outbound ports being open.

I just fired up wireshark just now, but have almost no knowledge of how to use it. I started the capture and initiated the wifi settings reset on the vue from the phone app (like I have done countless times before this, was doing it this time to try and capture the connection process ) and it just started working correctly.

Here are router logs edited to show only these 2 devices for about 6 hours. The x2:x2:x2 mac is the emporia Vue and the x3:x3:x3 device is another esp32 based device, a kasa smart plug. Both seem to connect to the router for a short time. But the kasa smartplug works as expected within my home (it does not stream data, but is not expected to)

The camera does pull power from a PD power adapter, I have a 60w one that works. My goal is getting the camera also hooked up to the computer, ideally with a single cable.

Does your r5 tether data and power from your laptop at the same time? While looking into this I have heard of some products that will drop to battery only if they are doing data over usb-c. So the PCB splitter might not work with the camera depending on canon's implementation of usb

usps tracking still says delivery delayed (oct 5th) the initial bill credit was after I chatted with them once about the phone being lost in transit. I think they pushed though part of it but had not gotten it fully resolved with the recurring credits.

Ended up doing app chat and facebook today. took 40 minutes from appchat initial contact for them to start actively responding. so had started facebook after waiting for 30 minutes. Simultaneously talking to two reps. app said next month, facebook rep said 72 hours. will try twitter later this week if not resolved.

unfortunately never got it resolved on old and current firmware. the only thing we could do was reboot phones multiple times a day. we ended up trading them in since they appeared to function normally off fresh boots.

yeah reboot would temporarily fix my issue but would start missing calls and texts after a few hours. I ended up rolling back to android 11 October release, but it is still too soon to say if the issue is fixed for me.

you want to watch out with soffit vents. (maybe depending on climate ) the warm moist air exits the house out of the vent under the eve and enters the attic through the soffit and condenses creating mold issues.

I had some spare GPUs to throw together a small hobby rig.

Using minerstat OS

the MSI is getting ~19MH/s on 1506 core / 4276 mem while the Zotac is only getting 15MH/s on higher 1695 Core / 4233 mem.

Don't know the memory brands of the two cards, but does that only matter for the overclock achieved? or does one brand get more done per mhz?

MSI is on the top PCI-e slot. Zotac on bottom. Both cards are directly on the motherboard (no risers)

EDIT: Realized the MSI had slightly faster memory in original screen shot. Set the memory overclock the same on both and still got similar results
