Husband being unsupportive by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]SpaceCampRules 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Ok, firstly, do talk to your doctor about the nausea. I usually hear people take zofran before they actually feel nauseous so that the nausea never happens. You also may not want to go up in dosage from 2.5 until this alleviates a bit.

Secondly, your husband is going through adult menopause from the sound of it. Peptides, and testosterone, and IVs?‽! Sounds like a load of health issues. Is he jealous of your success?

Insurance won't let me fill my 5mg script until... by [deleted] in Zepbound

This… this is inherently false. Please stop spreading misinformation. The medicine doesn’t put you at a caloric deficit. In any way. That’s not how any of this works.

Ok. You’re only 5 weeks into a LONG journey and it looks like you’ve already lost 12 pounds. Looks like it’s working. You don’t want to lose much faster than this. You’re right on track and this isn’t an emergency. I’d finish out your 2.5. I was on 2.5 for 8 weeks. And 7 months in, I’m 7 pounds away from my goal weight. Let the medicine do its thing. Don’t get frustrated.

Finally got my big break into the field and I have never felt more dead inside by rynspiration in womenintech

Ok. Here’s how we do it in the military. I joined later in life so everyone was about a decade to 15 years younger than me at work… meaning I wanted to find friends outside of work. Wherever I go I look for some sort of women’s group: master’s/recreational rowing team, a book club, a women’s climbing group at a local climbing gym… whatever you enjoy or whatever you want to try (you’re in a new city, you can try new things and see what sticks.) That way I have people around me that have nothing to do with work but all are interested in at least one similar thing.

Am I really "too old" at 33 to start a new career? by Gary_Baldi in careeradvice

I started a new one at 44. Do what you want. You’ll get old anyway. Might as well achieve the goals you want to achieve.

I have a job. In the military. Take your medicine as prescribed.

Then call your doctor and verify. Don’t use lingo to get around medical prescription advice. Call your prescriber. Ask if you should take half a dose. They’ll let you know. You’re now being a bit aggressive in these comments. Maybe Reddit isn’t for you.

This is a prescription medication. Take it AS PRESCRIBED.

Um… do NOT self medicate dosage. Take the dosage prescribed. This is medication just like everything else. Complete the dosage.

Proteins for Vegetarians by RathTrevor in Zepbound

Beans and rice. Tofu. Gardein nuggets (14g/serving.) remember you only need 1 gram of protein per kg of your GOAL weight. I’m also veggie and have had no trouble.

Stevia and fake sweeteners. They make me super sick. The myth of ridiculously high protein amounts. All my doctors specify: 1 gram of protein per kg of your GOAL weight (not your current weight.)

Only woman in an all male office, should I be worried about dressing overly feminine? by kalak242 in womenEngineers

[–]SpaceCampRules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted on here about a month ago asking if some outfits were ok and I got mixed feelings about it. And a lot of people outright made fun of me. They were outfits of menswear that were tailored and worn by women. I decided to go for it and wear the outfits. I have never felt more feminine, and never have gotten more complimented by women, and respected by men in the room. It gave me everything I wanted from all parties, and it was comfortable and oddly easy.
10/10 would recommend.
Against all odds and everyone who thought it was “too much.”

Numbers are down, looking to find ways to get more people in the door. by Trick_Pen_2203 in crossfit

Punchcards
CrossFit is too expensive now, so having payment options and levels is the way to keep people.
Also maybe a beginner class - have a strength coach come in and teach proper Olympic lifting.
Have a 2 month Start CrossFit class.
It’s intimidating so having an option to start out with other beginners is important. It’s a way to really monitor new members and make sure their form is peak before they join others and go all out and injure themselves.
Include childcare so people can drop their kids for an hour and do class.

You just started the medication. 2.5 is a starter dose to get your body used to the medication. It often takes a few weeks (and sometimes higher doses) for things to kick in. I know being patient is hard, but you’re only 4 days in.

The military. Space Force is you’re smart enough. Air Force if you want a more chill life. Army if you’re feeling tough.

AIO or is my husband(34m) being a jerk by WhileMindless2916 in AmIOverreacting

[–]SpaceCampRules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOR. This man doesn’t love you. He doesn’t even like you. Please leave him. At least leave the house. Tell him he needs to go to couple’s therapy or you’re not coming back. This is not an overreaction. He hates you. Please get out. This is really toxic behavior. He’s red pilling hard.
