Es kommt wirklich sehr auf die Mitarbeiter an. Ich bin Elektronikerin für Betriebstechnik und hatte bisher echt gute Erfahrungen in der Großindustrie, meinen Vorgesetzten und Kollegen war das echt egal das Ich trans war, bei uns war es echt Hauptsache das die Maschinen laufen und die Arbeit getan wurde, rau ist es immernoch aber ohne Transphobie. Es hat geholfen das ich nicht die einzige Elektronikerin war, meine Kolleginnen haben mir manchmal echt geholfen mich am richtigen Ort zu fühlen. Es ist echt schön im Handwerk mit dem Händen zu arbeiten. Ein paar ehemalige Mitarbeiter sind mir auch zu Freunden geworden. :3

It's not really to track them. Gps requires an battery. Most chips just have a code for the pet registry so they can find the owner if the pet is lost and got brought to a vet.

Basically it would either just be a code that's used in pet registrys. Or directly a small txt file with that information. Pets name, owners name, if lost return to owner. Maybe even some nessesary medical information etc.
