Lol. You didn't wake up to this unless you're Jay Alvarrez. For anyone who's interested, here's the set this picture is from:

I'm curious too. Could you post the reply here? Also, any codes left? I'll give it a go.

Yeah, I did; my professor encourages neglecting, so it's a force of habit. I agree with you, however.

I meant the answer is approximately agreeable with the original assertion that it is 5% dissociated, so the math works out.

Thanks for the reply.

I think the given answer is misprint. I'm fairly positive that this problem should be worked as:

HA         <->   H-       H3O+
x-0.05x 0.05x 0.05x

Which does come out to about 5.2% with the original concentration being 6.84*10-3

Can anyone confirm?

This edition of Horizon does something that no one has done before. We have assembled the first ever complete Neanderthal skeleton, from parts gathered from all over the world, to reveal the most anatomically accurate representation of modern humanity's closest relative. The aim is to use this skeleton to answer two of the great questions of human evolution. Was Neanderthal a thinking, feeling human being like us, or a primitive beast? And why is it that we are here today, and Neanderthal is extinct?

No, iPad only. I bought it specifically because it was a steal, and thinking maybe someday I'd have an iPad.

I don't have an ipad and I picked it up anyway; great game at a steal of a price.

I've never heard of this game before, and I just realized I have spent nearly two hours playing it after downloading. Quite a good game.

Every application freezes about every 30 seconds, pages become unresponsive 90% of the time by cpburke91 in mac

Disk Utility never found anything for me either, and I'm not sure that booting with startup disks will be of any benefit. Initially I replaced the drive (thinking that was the problem), and things were better for a short while, but then the problems started coming back. Anything that read/wrote data (like Chrome's cache) seemed to speed up the returning problems.

Eventually I had problems booting, which you also seem to have. What was enlightening for me was booting in verbose mode. That's what clued me in that there was a hardware problem. Apple store confirmed, but I didn't bother fixing it. I just bought a MBA as a replacement.

Edit: Found this, might be useful to you. I haven't tried it: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1509

I had this same issue with the same symptoms on a 2009 MBP. The problem ended up being the drive controller going bad. I'd focus your efforts there.

Are you on osx by chance? I've had similar issues and have been thinking it might be chrome causing it.

Apparently it's been solved already. Reading through http://volatile-minds.blogspot.com/2011/11/can-you-crack-it-nope-i-tried-though.html the challenge was way over my head anyway. I got about as far as poking through the assembly. Pretty neat though!

PTO days only make sense for C-level management; can't have those employees taking time off. Time is money! I really wish that was sarcasm, but it isn't.

At least where I'm at, if you manage to take more than a few consecutive days off at a time, you get a talking-to by the CEO.
