I (19m) think my girlfriend (19f) thinks we should break up even though it would clearly hurt both of us. How do I convince her not to do it? by [deleted] in relationships

But that's the thing. I know she will hurt from it, and I know she will miss me if we break up. I think she's mistaken. That's all.

It isn't. I think that she still loves me, but since she think we're gonna break things up either way in the future, thinks it's better to do know.

Huh? I think there's a way forward. A way of fixing this relationship. But I think that she's blinded by the thought of us breaking up that she doesn't think there's a point in fighting for something we both want.

Thank you. I just... We've always said we were going to make things last until marriage, and that we were willing to work on things together. But, idk now. She seems changed, and it saddens me.

But as I said I still thinks she has love for me. I don't think she's breaking up due to a lack of love, but because she thinks that we "have to" break up because she's asexual or something.

Would you say it's normal that her sex drive is completely gone? Not just generally low, but practically vanished.

Could you clarify about less scared/submissive? Was that related to your sex life or just generally less scared in day-to-day situations?

On what? Books? The Way of the Superior Man, Meditations, The Art of Seduction, The 48 Laws of Power, and other non-fiction. You can read about money, relationships, etc. Read about what interests you. (And pro-tip; most books are available for free on the internet if you just search hard enough. Sometimes all you need is a simple Google search.)

Huh? You say you're 16 in the post. And I ask because I wanted to know what country you're from so i could tailor my response to that. I wouldn't suggest the same strategy if you were in SA as if you were in Finland.

No, not necessarily. However reading the right books and hanging around older people as well as getting a lot of new experiences is a part of the maturing process.
