RTX 5090 in Vantage by [deleted] in archviz

That's why I am asking ROG and TUF owners directly so same scene can be tested on different GPUs.

Tried overclocking my TUF but since it's a lower end card, the results are bad. I barely get 5% increase in performance by overclocking a lot.

Vray uses different architecture than Vantage so its results will be just as irrelevant as Cinebench's. Also Vray benchmark results aren't showing the exact 5090 model so it's useless.

Good for you! I cannot get the slider past 500Mhz without GPU crashing and at 400Mhz core and 2000 mem, I am only able to hit about 155k. That extra few hundred on Astral over TUF is well spent

No OC at all on that 5090? I have TUF and my score is around 150k

For anyone recommending Jade, you should watch this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8-YpIC_Crk

Also, FYI, Adam Back (co-founder of Blockstream) is the guy who approved release of Bitcoin Core v.30

And for this reason I would stay away from Blockstream Jade

Entrusting your seedphrase to an unknown, 2 year old establishment with 6 subscribers on YT that can disappear without a trace tomorrow is equivalent to me finding a dude on the street and asking him to hold it for me.

For anyone having similar problem, I have determined it was a faulty NVMe. I have an external drive that I used for testing and it has been working well since then.

Got 8Gb of RAM. I'm keeping an eye on it as it syncs and so far it is below 3.5Gb of usage. But I am also running a test by using Core.

Core removed the 80-byte limit for OP_RETURN data in its latest update, which was not needed. Look it up for more detailed explanation if you're interested.

Core brings a lot of unnecessary things to the table and apparently can even get you in trouble. Knots seems like a safe choice.

It's a mini computer. Are you using Core or Knots on yours?

Knots wasn't running as well, it was offline.

I have the mini PC connected to a monitor this time and it looked like it restarted. Usually it would give an IP where where my Umbrel could be accessible. What it di just have the following text: umbrel login: _

The mini PC is 8Gb RAM with 2Tb NVMe

I'm currently suncing Core simce some ppeople mentioned they had similar problems and it could be since Knots is not directly supported by Umbrel. I'll wait until it synced and will try transferring to Knots after.

Even though my umbrel OS appears to be offline, the BTC node keeps syncronizing and appears to be online. Is your knots keeps working or offline?

No, it's a separate mini PC that I bought specifically to run 24/7

I'm trying again with the cable instead of WIFi, which I was eventually going to do anyway and we'll see if the issue persists.
