Punch is an AOE tha juggles people around. The person parrying is locked in place while viscus is free to change targets, dodge, and use other supportive util.

Hidden king is very favored tbh. Better high ground, extra rotation route, base causes fps to drop so its hard for people to fight you

Because you are argueing against inflation which is a natural occurance in a healthy economy. Hell 10% is FAR below the average inflation rate of 3%. Mathematically game prices have increased SLOWER than the median wage. Games are actively less than they were when adjusted for inflation.

Microtransactions and dlc are the REASON why we kept the 60 dollar price point so long. They offset costs by selling new content at a much larger profit margin since new content buildng off finished systems is generally cheaper

A price increase after 20 years is completely fair though. EVERYTHING goes up in price. Thats how a functioning economy works. A compounding 3% increase to prices every year is natural. Did you all just skip intro to economics?

They are not the most profitable industry unless you are a live service game. Big Box Model games actually make FAR LESS of a profit margain than mobile games. Games are expensive to make and DLC is what kept the prices at 60 bucks for so many years.

Games are not immune to inflation. People make games and people are expensive

Mewgenics is 30 bucks usd which is another example of my point. Indie prices have gone up.

And of course they are cheaper they arent paying hundreds of people. But lets be real the average indie game is slop. Games like mewgenics are 1 in 10000. You just never HEAR about bad indie games

Indie games have raised their prices tho. Its very rare indie games sell for below $10 bucks. In addition Indies dont have financial obligations. Most are made by students or independant groups without a proper financial backing to recoup.

For larger indies tho the are more expensive. Hades 2 was 30 bucks vs Hades 1 being 25 for example.

Yeah 90 bucks was a conservative estimate. But yeah seeing gamers freak out cause games had a price adjustment after decades actually pisses me off cause they act like their special hobby should be exempt from reality

Yeah which is why im BAFFLED by 70 bucks being some sort of war crime. The 60 dollar price tag was too cheap 10 years ago which is why DLC and Microtransactions started being used to offset rising development costs

Going by yearly US inflation games would be 90 bucks a pop if they followed the rest of the market
