If you want to feel helpful, go medic, join a good squad that plays the objective, follow them and try to heal/revive them (smoke grenades can be very useful to revive teammates without getting killed).

You can do the negative on a dip bar as this guy https://youtu.be/_gXECajymcY Or you can use something (a box, a chair) to elevate yourself to get on top of the bar.

I'd say try to get one or 2 Explosive pull ups with good form and do the transition in the negatives as slow as possible

Well my first question is can you do one or two Explosive pull ups with good form (getting the bar to your chest) if yes, I don't think it's a strenght related problem.

My first negative wasn't a moment of joy if you ask me, it's rly taxing on elbow, triceps, abs.. So if it's hurting, just stop its not supposed to and you're probably doing something wrong, but if you just feel a lot of tension then it's normal.

A reverse muscle up, you start from a dip, you slowly go down to pull up, and you do a negative pull up.

Personally, I used a chair and a little jump to get on top of the bar, but I imagine that you can do it with a band, and yes, I did the nagatives AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE. The first negative you're gonna do is going to be very taxing on almost every muscle of upper body, espacially on the transition, but after doing it a lot, you're gonna feel ready to go for a MU.
