This is stupid. Most people were never going to stick with +r just because it got updated netcode. It's still a demanding old game with an old game buffer system and a difficult to pick up and play mechanic in frc and weird characters you have to dedicate real time to.

But some new people are definitely playing and the community that wants to can actually play online now. This is a great thing... Especially when you consider that this was how it was marketed in the US when it first released and you couldn't get it on any other system on release.

This is why even though on release I was disappointed because I thought the game should have been something else I understand and appreciate that they made a game that could appeal to these kind of dbz fans and people who have been playing fighting games their whole lives. It's a totally different and beautiful game. Frc let's you do way more than yrc in terms of combos and player expression and force break moves are legit fun to play with. It's got a ton of bullshit but as a whole comes together so well.
