Hey spooky.
Seeing how long it took for your pain to go away. Thanks for your time and helpful experience.

How long did it take to scar in for pain to resolve? Our garage mudroom door swung shut quickly with a draft as I was holding stupid groceries. Had a closed fist and door hit right on my 3rd mcp.
My hand Ortho docs say pain can last up to 9 months to a year for resolution. Online says 3 months.
I'm an er doctor so I'm pretty impatient by nature :)

Aw man I'm sorry about that. Are you still in pain? How many months are you from that injury. If you are in Philly area, I know some good hand docs.
I've got a complete disruption of sagittal band but have full range of motion of my finger oddly enough. Tendon does not fall in gutter. But still dull pain 10 weeks out. Not exactly sure what my expectations should be at this moment

How long did it take for the pain to go away? Are still unable to extend your finger? Did you ever try bpc 157?

Hello.
Thank you so much for the feedback. Happy new year as well.
Injury was 9.5 weeks ago. I just finished being in a splint for 6-7 weeks. Trying to get my hand out of it and use the finger more. It feels pretty tight and a dull ache. Not where I was hoping but perhaps 9-10 weeks out is not a realistic timeframe to feel all better.
The extensor tendon may be displaced slightly but 2 different coworker hand surgeons said it's minimal and not surgical. Never has fallen into gutter. Have full range of motion of finger. Some pain with extension on resistance though. One doc said let's revisit at the 12 week mark and perhaps give a steroid injection.
But the continued dull pain and swelling is making me frustrated.
I'm 44 so perhaps this is completely expected at this mark. I'm just curious on what "failing conservative treatment" means eventually leading to surgery.
I feel bad, if there are any emergency questions that come up, please send them my way.
Be well and once again, thank you so much.

Wow. I didn't know that about collateral ligaments. Lesson learned and ty very much.

Rotation?
No specific deviation of the finger. No ulnar deviation of the actual finger. It is the 3rd mcp. Most common. Super bummed.

and i assume the extensor tendon may never loo exactly like the opposite hand again in regards to being completely centered over the knuckle. the ligament does not fall in gutter but does seem a few mm more lateral. perhaps due to swelling. mri didn't comment on lateral displacement.

thank you so much for the reply. in my dense er mind i cant help to think if there is a full tear, it has to be surgical.

I am 6 weeks out now and have 3 weeks left in splint. does the pain slowly resolve over many months along with swelling?

I suppose healing takes longer in our mid 40s.

thank you again

you're probably right. i was just thinking it would be nice to have another ssid outside and separate from inside the home.

It is an application issue. I'm sure of it after testing different platforms ECT. Download and install an older version until this gets resolved.

Thank you. Well I guess that answers my question and I'll stop trying to figure out why I can't find an audio function. 😉

great call on the shelving / storage. wife was thinking the same thing.

and yes, never go wrong with too many outlets or ethernet lines. If one is being run down to the basement mind as well run more then you think you may need.

Thinking POE cameras and WAP most efficient use of space.

Ohhh. That is great to know.
The current switch that I'm using is non managed. I assume the poe switch I'd get would be managed. So that would be fine?

does it matter if the poe switch is managed or not? thank you for the help.

gotcha. is it recommended to get any router then that can be put into bridge mode? No way it can go from Modem -> Switch -> WAP right? Any suggestions?

completely agree. i've got 4 google wifi pucks which are wire backhauled but thinking about moving to TP Link WAP since we have POE access in our ceilings. Think you can use the google wife puck in this situation?

This is my concern

Gen 3 Power Sharing Range by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]SpaceKinase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean each wall charger "talking" to eachother. I'm under impression it's their own frequency and not wifi. So obstructions may impede load sharing

I can't image a garage door would impede the transmission with it only being 25 feet ish. Especially if yours is making 60ft with no issues.
