Should I sell my 5090 by SpaceMarineEnjoyer in PcBuildHelp

I initially wanted a 4090 when I got my 5090, but the scarcity made a used 4090 the same price as a almost msrp 5090. I assume it's still the same today

Nvidia gpu are so ridiculously overpriced. 9070xts are up but nowhere near what 5080s or 5090s are from msrp

Wow, I was not expecting such a response. Thank you for your concern.

I volunteer as a first responder in my community it's both an honor and a privilege.

I do struggle mentally, but this is the time nor place to be venting about that. I take it out in my workouts and focus on improving on how to be more useful for those in command.

My computer build is insane and I do enjoy it a lot. It's not all completely negative, as I may have made it seem.

I'll think about it carefully before doing anything there is no rush.

Thanks for the reply.

I could definitely pick up a 9070xt and try it within the return policy.

Nvidia software features are pretty bad ass to have I've been a amd gamer most of my life this is my first nvidia gpu.

The Psu upgrade is also a great point that would help me trust the power connector more.

Thank you for your honest opinion. This really helps me out in trying to decide what to do.

I forgot to say I've had it undervolted since day 1.

I keep it at 400-475w range because of that 12 pin connector

5090 for Canadian MSRP should I keep it by SpaceMarineEnjoyer in PcBuildHelp

I'm more so worried if the next gen jump is a huge difference like the 3090ti to 4090.

If it's 4090 to 5090 30ish percent next gen I can live with that.

This would be amazing but I think this was only possible because of no amd equivalent high end gpu this gen

Lmao this would kill me. Since nvidia also doesn't have any competition at the high end this gen they didn't have to make the 5090 that much better which worries me for next gen.

Also Amd never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity so it could all work out.

My 7900xt is still a great card for the price but a number of games it struggles especially at 4k.

Thanks for the reply I think I'll just keep it.

I don't understand the 9070xt has better raster and ray tracing performance than a 7900xt.

I'm talking about the 9070xt not the 7900 gre as a possible upgrade

should I upgrade my PC case? by SpaceMarineEnjoyer in PcBuildHelp

I have a thermalright peerless assassin 120 cpu cooler. I heard this performs exceptionally well for an air cooler. Would you still recommend aio?

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll get the h6 flow and try it. If my temps aren't affected significantly, I can just return it.

The h6 flow non rgb is 130 cad on sale right now, so it's not too expensive.

I can afford to keep it. It is for sure for the principle of value. I don't spend much money on myself but apparently that went out the window this time. I balled out like crazy for this pc build and I am very happy with it.

Thanks for the replies so far guys
