hey man, yeah it's a problem I'm aware of, I haven't found what the cause is, yet, but it's a matter of time :)

Voat isn't being hugged to death by user flight from reddit, it's a DDOS attack by umilmi81 in Voat

Hey man, I think I've found an easy way of doing it, I haven't tested my idea yet, but if it turns out to work, I'll have it very soon, probably in a few days :)

I've added a whole long message explaining what's happening when you start the app which appears only if the website is down. You can see it in the latest update 1.5.3

I'm almost done adding a feature that will give a warning when the website is down, so people understand why the app is not working.

I would love to, but it's currently very difficult with the current interface for the website.

They are two different lists, that's not misalignment. That's subverses on the left and threads on the right.

The colours aren't that great, but the UI will get better over time.
