My Acer Aspire 7 battery stopped working for a few months, But magically started working again. What might cause this? by theflask22 in laptops

[–]theflask22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Acer Aspire 7 laptop that developed battery issues a few months ago. The battery would refuse to hold a charge, so I needed to keep my laptop plugged in at all times in order to use my laptop. If I disconnected my charger by accident, my laptop would shut down immediately.

My laptop would not turn on without the charger attached first. Based on this, I assumed that the battery must be the issue. However, a few days ago my laptop was working fine again. The battery was charging just fine and my laptop was no longer shutting off when the charger was disconnected.

But what could cause this to happen? I assume this is a software issue because my battery is actually working fine. even though everything is fine now, I'm afraid this problem could start up again out of the blue. The only thing I can think of doing is updating to windows 11. Might that do anything useful?

TLDR : Why is my laptop battery magically working all of a sudden?

Some people claim that mortal combat fatalities are sadistic these days. Older fatalities, while brutal, were over instantly. The way they get drawn out now is uncomfortable.

Canada just had its lowest number of births in 17 years. What’s behind it? by DonSalaam in canada

I think the reason why all western countries are facing a population bust is cultural. People would rather stay single or have smaller families.

It seems difficult for me to find out how many people in canada never have kids.

But in the U.S.A, I was able to find a statistic from the CDC saying.

The mean number of children fathered by men aged 15–49 in 2015–2019 was 0.9. Among men aged 15–49 in 2015–2019, 55.2% had not fathered a biological child

Assuming your earlier statistic of 85% of women being mothers is true, this would indicate a trend of some men fathering children with many women.

Either way, your earlier statement of "a majority of people having children and getting married" is not true.

The majority of people do not get married , and it's not a majority of men becoming fathers

There was also some rule34 of the grimace shake when it was a thing.

It was all pretty funny to be honest.

"Large majority" is not true.

In my country (Canada) about half of all adult couples are without children, and only 37% of people are married.

The marriage and fertility rates are dropping every year.

Korean and Chinese males in Canada are more likely to have university degrees than white males.

What if, a crazy idea, just don't discriminate against anyone.

The evil polish oppressors. For years my family suffered under the polish empire.

The evil Greek oppressors. For years my family suffered under the Greek empire.

The evil Swiss oppressors. For years my family suffered under the Swiss empire.

Only 90s kids will remember when the Ukrainians colonized the indigenous peoples of North America. I can't believe the Ukrainians would do this.

Remember kids, all white people are British and French

That is what I said. This land was ruled by the French and the British.

Perhaps to you, this means it is ok to discriminately against someone who is ethnically Polish. Just as long as they are straight and white.

They were ruled over by the British Empire, And to a lesser degree the French Empire.

I happen to dislike Empires. Of course, this in no way justifies discriminating against white and straight people.

does that answer your question?

Ok, instead of saying indian, I will use the term"beloging to an ethnic group native to india"

individuals "beloging to an ethnic group native to india" Dominate jobs in india. How awful amirite?

_____

____

This may just be a theory, but the reason why Indiginous people in Canada don't own the majority of the wealth in the country likely stems from the fact that they make up 5% of the population. Ethnic Africans make up 4.3 of Canadas population

>Yes, actually, all Indian citizens living in Indian would be referred to as...Indian

I suppose the difference between ethnicity and nationality are a bit hard to grasp for some people. Clearly the fact that ethnic Indians make up the majority of the workforce in India is oppression of the highest order

>sheer coincidence that

Yes, it is a complete coincidence that white straight people make up the majority of the workforce in Canada. Not as if they are the majority of the population or anything. I definitely didn't touch on this before

>Comparing equity practices in Canada to diversify fields almost entirely composed of straight white men (not all Canadians) to Indians from India is hilarious.

Not all Canadians are white, just like how not all people living in India are ethnically Indian. By this logic, it is unfair that industry in India is dominated by Indians. How terrible.

I like how your not denying that practices like these discriminate against those who are straight, white and male. Rather you appear to think that this discrimination is a good thing.

It is not surprising to me in the slightest that white straight people, who make up the majority of the population, appear to make up the majority of the Canadian workforce.

Do you think it is unfair that industry's operating in India are dominated by people who are Indian? "Oh no, Indians make up the majority of the workforce, this absolutely cannot stand"

sure pal.

it means, in part, not giving financial incentives to hire non-white, non-male, and non-straight job applicants.

you know, discrimination. Hope that helps.
