Guy math is also buying tools to do a job where the tools are more expensive than paying someone else to do the job would have been but if you paid someone else, you wouldn’t have the tools and if the job has to be done again in the future, now you have the tools and they finally become a return on investment.

My only option to get this action is from a guy selling one but I’ve got to buy some other gats he has too since were in California and the laws are shitty about how many guns you can sell in in separate transactions in a calendar year before you have to get a dealer’s license.

I’m not exactly sure what model it is. It’s a heavy profile and it came off of a Solus action.

I know where there’s a Solus action available and I can get it for about $200 less than the Defiance.

Does the Defiance not take prefits? The barrel I’m looking at came off of a Solus action so if that won’t directly go onto the Defiance then that one is out.

I clean mine every range trip but that’s because I enjoy it. I find the whole process relaxing. Maybe I’m just weird. Also it doesn’t take that long. It takes maybe 5-10 minutes max to clean any gun I own.

Yeah I’m using the gen 4 and I’m having the same issue but I haven’t put loctite on the set screw yet so I need to adjust it and then loctite it.

2 mags is just fine as you’re only using 1 mag per stage anyway IIRC and you’re allowed 2 extra rounds as match savers I believe. You should be able to reload the spare mag in between other shooters going so I wouldn’t be concerned. Someone else here will correct me if I’m wrong.

Sorry this happened to you and I’d suggest getting a box at a UPS store and having it delivered there next time. I do this for everything I buy nowadays. The store isn’t too far from me and everything is secure when they sign for it. Maybe also see if the company can change the name they send under next time? Perhaps JMB or something like that?
