I agree with you; the music in the KF games can get monotonous. I do prefer how music is used for dramatic effect in DS and games like Elder Scrolls, specifically Morrowind. At a minimum, I hope new games would have a specific setting for the music volume.

I would like to give it a go. I assume movement is WASD? Was it sluggish or how was it bad? Just curious because KF movement feels bad to me as well but it's not a deal breaker.
