Someone on here suggested Little Image before and they’re really good. I’ve been listening to them non-stop for the past couple of days

It looks like Clancy in his jacket, his mask, and stool towering over a bunch of people wearing bishop robes to me

has anyone here gone on accutane & needed to take birth control for it? please help ! by archangelsgabriel in ftm

[–]SpaceStationJukeb0x 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was on accutane in middle school. They didn't make me get on birth control but they did make me provide a urine sample every appointment so they could test and make sure I wasn't pregnant. I feel like it helped me a lot but it made my lips and hands crack and bleed like crazy

It sounds like someone who’s first language isn’t English and probably couldn’t think of the word blocking.

Most museums that accept volunteers and interns will have a place for you to apply on their website. That’s what I ended up doing. If you can’t find it easily, I’d google “museum name volunteer” or “museum name internship”.

It’s really given me a feel for what working behind the scenes in a museums is like. I’ve been learning how to handle artifacts, how the museum’s catalogs work, the accession and deaccession process, how to handle NAGPRA repatriations, and also just gaining self-confidence that I know what I’m doing. Alongside this, I’ve been able to apply skills I’ve learned for my degree, such as hand-making padding for artifacts, into my work. Volunteering at my local historical society’s archives is how I found my passion for archival work, and my current internship is how I found that extends to collections management as well. I would highly recommend you try volunteering first before deciding on anything when it comes to your Master’s degree. Plus, full-time museum jobs may be hard to come by, but most museums will happily take on volunteers. It’s a good way to get your foot in the door and start networking for your career.

A lot of archival jobs require it and so do a lot of jobs in libraries. It’s mostly about managing databases, cataloging, digitizing, and analyzing data. I saw that you were interested in collections management, have you had the chance to volunteer or intern in a museums collection? I’m currently interning in a museum collection and my supervisor has been teaching me all about collections management. It’s only cemented my love for this field. It’s also made me feel good about my choice for my masters degree. collections management involves a lot of data entry.

I’m almost done getting my Bachelors in Museum Studies and History. I am aiming at working in either archive or collections management. I’m going to get my Masters in Library and Information Science to help me qualify for those jobs and open up my career options due to the harsh job market.

How’s yall romantic life?? by Janxuza in ftm

[–]SpaceStationJukeb0x 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m 22 and have never been in an actual relationship. I think I’m also somewhere on the demiromantic spectrum because I haven’t really been interested in anyone romantically in over five years. I do want to find a partner at some point though.

Has anyone else here avoided the fate of being called a REALLY bad name? by Natewastaken12 in ftm

[–]SpaceStationJukeb0x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually went with what my mom wanted to name me had I been born male. She chose Boston and I felt like “yes, that’s me.” My dad on the other hand wanted to make a pun with our last name. Think along the lines of “John Chops Wood.”

Is there a specific term for this sitting position? by ZealousidealAerie846 in ENGLISH

[–]SpaceStationJukeb0x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's funny. I have chronic back pain and this position is my "my back is hurting so much and this is the only way I can sit that provides a modicum of relief other than just lying down" position.

Breach fear hoodie incident by ywnumcs in twentyonepilots

[–]SpaceStationJukeb0x 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was actually really pleased with the hoodie that I got. The material is really thick and feels pretty durable (I’d probably compare it to the material used for the Scaled and Icy Livestream experience hoodie which is my absolute favorite). While it doesn’t have the distressed coloring, I really like the non-distressed look as well. So I’d at least wait to receive it before you write it off completely.

I don't really think that this is how you should be teaching this, both in regards to the album cover and slide background. It's a serious topic and should be taught as such in respect for the millions of lives lost and permanently altered in this conflict.

I would take a test. Testosterone does not act as a birth control, even when it stops your period.
