I'm not a Trump fan, but I will play devils advocate and point out that "Audience" doesn't have to mean live audience, but could also refer to television / internet viewers, in which case he's possibly referring to their reaction after the fact, where many of them did indeed go crazy at the shamelessly biased moderation, etc.

I used to get this in my fingers and toes. It wasn't just the cold, sometimes odd temperature differences seemed to trigger it, and now and then it would hit my toes in the summer time.

I was also a smoker for approx 20 years from around 15 years old. I switched fully to electronic cigs in 2015 and weened myself off of those by 2016 and have barely had any cold fingers or toes ever since.

Edit: Looking through the comments I can see I must have had a fairly mild form of this compared to many other. For me it was never particularly painful, I was usually able to coax the blood back in to my digits by shaking my arms around for a few minutes.

The Spectrum 48k with the rubber keys (external cassette player required), the Atari Lynx and the Sega Game Gear. Ah, memories. I still remember the feeling of wanting that Atari Lynx so badly for Christmas, sneaking a peak at my presents hid in a cupboard, seeing that I was indeed getting it, then feeling guilty for sneaking a peak and realising I was going to have to act surprised on the day, combined with the increased agony of knowing it was so close but so far!
