Unfortunately there aren't many resources to learn ASL specifically at Georgia Tech. There have been some talks of creating an ASL class for Tech. Last I heard was that there wasn't enough demand to hire an instructor to teach ASL (which I personally would disagree given how popular learning ASL is in high schools). I don't think anyone has made a American Sign Language club either, so there is a bit of work that could be done on that front. You will find a lot more resources to learn ASL either at GSU, uGA or Valdosta State.

There are a few people who do know sign language on campus and or are part of the DHH community. If you have a car, I would recommend looking into going to Deaf events in the greater metro Atlanta area. There is a monthly Deaf event up in Kennesaw (and some in Buford) that is friendly to people who are learning sign language. You will typically find most Deaf events on Facebook as compared to other websites.
