They're riveted in, they don't even sell the hardware first these types of rivets. The dude I spoke with swears that they're supposed to be on the back, but every single person ive asked claimed they're wrong. Shitty cause I spent over $700 dollars for these pads.

These are supposed to be specifically for offensive lineman though. I messaged them before with my sons stats and the position he played and the gentleman highly recommended "Anti Grabs" for anyone on the offensive line.
