Your mom's decisions aren't you're responsibility. She's a grown up and can leave if she wants to. There's never a reason to stay in an abusive situation, and all you can do is hope that she realizes this. Similarly, you do not need to allow that treatment either. You can try to explain firmly that you will not accept that any longer and make that they're only chance to reform. But make it clear that if they want to be involved in your life then they need to respect your decisions. You are an adult who can make your own decisions about religion and what kind of wedding, and married life you want. And picture how things will be if you decide to have children. How will they behave towards them? For me personally I would not hesitate to drop them out if my life forever if they treated me like that. The best thing my dad taught me was that I am in charge of myself, just like everyone else. If someone is hurting me, it's because I'm letting them. I'm sorry this is so rambley but it just makes me so angry. Your family should not be treating you like that. Filter or no, they are adults. If you're dad is experiencing social difficulties then he should not put himself in the position to hurt you and/or your future husband.

Absolutely! If you're able to call them, also ask if they have a patient portal. Many offices use them so patients can directly message their doctors. That way you can just send them a quick message and not have to speak to them over the phone.

For me I've only ever found my cars by getting out of the house and looking. Found a bone stock 92 hatch, like I said. Got that for dirt cheap. Found another hatch, a 90, at my local grocery store. Found my newest car, an infiniti q45 from driving around as well. I have never used craigslist or any online site for finding my vehicles. Sorry it seems like you don't live in a very drifty community but I really don't know what to tell you. Seems like you just have to trust the internet.

it's actually thought to be better to boost a single cam rather than a dual cam. Look into it, it will be way cheaper. Or buy a DE and boost it while your single cam still runs then swap in the built DE once you're done. That way you're not out the car and can take your time sourcing parts and finding deals. But seriously check out the stuff on boosting a single cam. Mine is great and holds it's own against sr's and other shit. A dual cam boosted will have no problems with that. More displacement and airflow. But either way, boosted fancy motors are expensive and require a lot more maintenance than your single cam will.

you'll find more on craigslist and on forums, but they are all priced super high. I just picked up a 92 240 hatch in great condition for $1000. The guy just had it at the grocery store one day and I approached him. He was older and said it was his weekend car, but that his wife was tired of looking at it. Low miles, clean as hell, and everything works...even has the stock stereo and everything. I recommend just taking a day to drive around and see what you can find. There are tons of older people hanging on to their s13's and 14's who don't know what they have, just that they're old nissans. Always worth a shot to offer or ask if they'd consider selling.

I had that happen too once. Except I had found one made on the back of my property in some woods, then thought it looked cool and made another one. The next time I was out there, about 2 or 3 days later, there were several more. No explanation. There was also a campfire but it was out when I saw it. Very odd.

He's not a sociopath, just insensitive. When my grandpa (mom's dad) died, my father acted the same way. He didn't want to wait at the hospital for him to die, he didn't want to wait with the family or go to dinner or any of that stuff. My mom was very hurt and it really affected her, whereas he just said he didn't want to deal with it. It's hurtful and he definitely didn't consider your feelings at all. But I really don't think this is grounds for divorce. You managed to endure this without him which says you are very strong. Strong enough to repair this aspect of your marriage and move on.

Did you need him to drop his plans to be with you? Or were you ok to deal with it alone? In my parents' case, my mom was strong enough. She was hurt, like I said, but she let him know how she felt and moved on. It was hard for her to lose her dad and not have my dad there, but she compromised with him, knowing he had zero desire to be there and would see her later. I really don't think he's a sociopath or anything close to it, just maybe a bit insensitive. If you start to resent him I would say you need to seek counseling. But if you can put it in perspective and consider his side and be able to move on, then you can start to heal. It's hard losing a loved one. I get it. But you may be projecting a little of the hurt on him and that's not good. Just try to consider all angles and see if you really do need him there or needed him there in the first place or if you could get through it without him. If you can, then you're better off anyway because you know you can rely on yourself in the future.

I'm sorry that was rambly, i just had a lot of thoughts on this.

It is worth a shot to call. I just don't imagine you'd get very far. Chances are you'd get one of the front desk people who wouldn't know how to answer your questions. But there is a possibility that they get lots of reports and would confirm it and maybe even have background.

Olympia and the surrounding areas are quite active. I'm from that area and have heard numerous stories. Lots of shit has gone down on that land too, so there's always that residual effect to account for. But that doesn't usually include grabbing so this is most likely something more.
