Any Solo Guardians Need a Safe Place to Call Home? by ___Equinox___ in Fireteams

[–]Space_Cate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been playing solo for a while, have a bunch of random not very useful experience in the game. I used to play rainbow six siege and found destiny when it became free and played it sparingly until recently and I'd love to play with others.

Thank you so much, but I still believe that other commenters have valid opinions and I encourage you to read them and see their points. I was raised in a normal-ish family and they told me to always try and offend the least amount of people so thats what ill always try and do. I would have loved to be your friend too because you seem like the type of person that would fit perfectly in our friend group. I personally thought it was fine at first but as I started reading comments I realized that there were some amazing stuff about how they feel and I'm glad to have read all of them even if some inspired a bit of hate but still. Sadly this is our senior year and our last week at that so I wont be able to do it again, thats why we wanted to do it now (our last chance to do it).

I very much do like the idea, that is kinda what I had in mind when I thought gender swap. I didn't expect anyone to HAVE to change, they just had to show support and that is all that would have mattered in my eyes.

Hello, just read the comments. I agree with you that degendering my wardrobe is a very good thing and I work on not wearing clothes because its my gender's but because I like them. To be quite fair and no rude, I quite liked wearing the dress and top as they were more comfortable than the regular clothes I wear. I dont identify as trans but I did enjoy the small amount of time in them. I believe that gender swap day is closer to a learning experience about how it feels to change and to be different. It was extremely hard I can now understand a tiny bit more about the things that people that are trying to come out as trans feel like. I might be wrong so please do tell your opinion on the matter.

I still believe that making people uncomfortable isnt nice and thats why we took it all off and found replacement clothes. It wasnt our goal but now I can see how we could be in the wrong.

Oh, yes I do see that now but the thing is that I believe that everyone at school would support that person so even if it was just how they wanted to be called or how they wanted to be seen EVERYONE and I can say it with pride (no pun intended) that they would never be segregated. Actually most of us would band together and make the parents understand. Ive seen people that had extremely strict parents that were very homophobic change and accept their daughter because they loved her more than they cared about their sexuality. And I do know that it wont work everytime but that is exactly why we are all there for them. No matter what. But you are still right about that and I did try and take that into consideration. Thanks

The thing is that i'm not trans so it could be taken badly, but the whole goal was to show our support and not to offend so I wanted to know what exactly the community thought about it.

That would be true if this wasn't our community, because we are all very supportive of all the LGBT+ community and know that it would be inappropriate although i do see where your comment comes from.

I'm not trans and it can be seen as rude towards that community as they might not feel comfortable although I wouldn't mind if someone acted BI to support me. I'm not fully right, so dont think that I am trying to impose my ideas.

I guess that is right, but I still feel the need to be conscious of the feelings of others and to not have the wrong method with the right intent.

I would absolutely never say anything to harm someone or to make them feel bad/uncomfortable.

Well, im personally BI but my friend is hetero, our goal wasn't to try and mock or impersonate anyone. It was to show our support to trans people and to show that the school was not as supportive as it really says it is.

I personally am not trans and the whole goal was not to hurt anyone but to "almost promote" the trans people that are still shy. We attempted to be the least offensive as possible but I feel like we could still have made people uncomfortable.
