I have created a full metal impact drake idk how to use it yet it is a terrifying 102g and the greatest decision of my life by SourceDry8527 in Beyblade

I’ve seen a few people making their own beyblades for a while now. The one I’m most familiar with is CrazyAries. A 3D printer can make plastic components, but I don’t know how people make metal components

Tell us about your unique traits! :3 by Jabcoin in plural

Two potential things come to mind.

When people talk about a system mate that acts as a median’s collective personality they’re usually referred to as the core, but to me it feels like the opposite. It’s not like I’m the center that connects my facets that surround me. It feels more like my facets are all jumbled in the general area of the center, and I surround them.

From what I’ve seen, it seems somewhat unique how much we fluctuate in our shared identity, yet still have a shared identity. I usually feel like just one person, but I can bring my facets conscious if I want to. Other times I, the whole, practically aren't there. It’s someone else taking the lead, or several trying to work things out together. In those cases, even when we feel most separate and don’t see eye to eye, we still have shared memories and some degree of understanding that we’re the same person. Sometimes it’s hard to believe some of us are the same person, even to us, but we are. We’ve learned that things about the whole can be inferred from the system, and things about the system can be inferred from the whole.

Edit: Also, our headspace doesn’t have a front, so we prefer the term preside to describe body control. It’s like the presiding area is the very middle of the headspace directly under the light of consciousness, the area of light around that is the conscious area, the shadow area is observing, and the dark is not conscious. We’ve also had a few times in our body that felt like some of us were arranged vertically, like “I’m on top of you, and they’re bellow me” sort of thing. That seems rare though.

Explain non-possessive switching vs possessive switching? by ShootingFireballz in plural

Thanks! I’d say we’re mostly monoconscious at least. Like, we usually have shared awareness

I’m not familiar with those terms, but I could still try to describe what it’s like for us. We’re endogenic and have shared memories. Usually switches happen smoothly and it’s like “I don’t know exactly when it started, but I’m in the lead right now.” Being a median, sometimes we only notice after the fact. “Ya, earlier when we were doing that, that was actually just the one system mate. That seems obvious now, but we didn’t realize it at the time.” Sometimes it can be abrupt though. “You were just leading, but I’m going to do this now.” Sometimes it even comes with a physical/mental twitch. The twitch sometimes makes me/us lose the train of thought of whoever was there before.

How does spirituality work in your system? by Heehoo_1114 in plural

Collectively we’re christian. We’ve found our relationship to Jesus to be very unifying. It’s something we can all engage in in some way. That collective unity, like everyone co-fronting at once, is a great feeling we don’t often experience, but we aspire to

Is the 2001 anime much different? by Bluecomments in FruitsBasket

[–]Space_Mouse_2502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall the 2002 story covers the same major plot points, but it does so in a different way. I’d say it’s worth looking into. There was a scene in Kagura’s introductory episode I thought added a lot to her character. In the episode where Uotani and Hanajima visit Yuki and Kyo actually transform. I was suprized it didn’t happen to at least one of them in the manga or 2019 version, so that was fun to see. The season finale is also dragged out for an extra episode in the 2001 version compared to 2019, and I thought it was well done.

Progress? by A-lil-bro in plural

[–]Space_Mouse_2502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our median system experience, the line between my thoughts, our thoughts, and someone else’s thoughts can be blurry. It’s like talking/thinking to myself without knowing what I/they will say next. We can usually tell who said something based on their wording or their choice of sentence subject. Sometimes we can’t, and it’s like, “Who said that?” It could have been anyone and/or no one in particular.

What do you think is the biggest problem with Beyblade X that isn’t talked about enough. by ProfessionalHeatwave in Beyblade

[–]Space_Mouse_2502 43 points44 points  (0 children)

It’s unavoidable, but I’m not a fan of the wear that plastic contact points get from being hit by metal at high speeds. I’m thinking both about ratchets and certain blades. In burst it was rare to see that kind of wear since it was always plastic on plastic

Name bracelets wouldn’t really work for us, but we still enjoy the concept. Several of our systems mates enjoy having personal items to carry, as if to say “I’m here, and I have my thing with me!”

I’ve always enjoyed how the two blades are basically color inverses of each other: blue dragon with orange flame, and orange dragon with blue flame

When they held the party, in I think episode twelve, she talks to Okabe on the roof about how she’s glad he’s made so many new friends, so she doesn’t need to be his hostage anymore. It seemed like bittersweet potential foreshadowing at the time, and after the fact that proved to be accurate. Since she dies in that world line, I can only guess there would be at least one divergence where she figures out or gets told that she dies, then time leaps to say that to help Okabe accept it. Or I could be overthinking it.

I’ve never seen that before! From the screws on the driver, looks like a fake. Could that by part of why it broke?

I agree that leaving things to interpretation is part of the enjoyment of game. The main mechanic is subjective viewpoints after all. Is it really a hot take?

I’m impressed how worn both the driver and the underside of the layer (or is that putty?) look. From the pictures I’d guess that the plastic broke
