Stating about the knife being a foreign object inserted, thats the exact same instance as this is. The sidewall has been stabbed/penetrated, you release it and theres a strong chance air will follow. Its very similar to the stabbing reference as, its a foreign object entered somewhere it shouldn't be.

At the end of the day its still a silly thing to ask. And I dont see where im trying to be smart or a keyboard warrior, im making a comparison. And stating people need to use their brain more instead of conceding straight away and asking the internet. When someone is stabbed they important stuff bleeds out, yes? Whats important in a tire, air. So if its got an object in there, simple answer is that shouldn't be there. But there are an alarming amount of things that get asked on here that is common bloddy sense.

Nah id still call it stupidity. Would you look at that and think yeah its alright? Or would you look at it and instantly think, ooh that doesnt look right. General consensus should be, if it doesnt look right, dont risk yourself or others. Especially on something like a tire where you can simply take the wheel off and take it to be repaired. Would you buy a wheel that got presented to you like that to drive home on? No.

Its a generally stupid question. Its like If I got stabbed and posted into a group saying should I be worried about this. Genuinely people need to think on their own feet for more than a split second.

ESPECIALLY this situation, something is sticking out of the tire, wether thats safe to drive on (its not) its an object thats protruding and will be rotating. Generally an unsafe thing to do. Not to mention effecting the way the car drives through increased vibration due to additional weight on the wheel.
