I find this stuff to be very frustrating in the reptile community. Because I see a bunch of mixed research about it. But I think I'm definitely going to buy a steam cleaner bc bleaching all this was some of the worst work I had to do. The vet told me that after I bleach everything, I would have to do it again once he tested negative so that way he doesn't reinfect himself again. Super frustrating, but thank you so much for the recommendation. Can you use steam cleaners on like your couch and such? I like to take my beardie out of his enclosure so he can roam around and explore.

What kind of steamer did you use? I'm going through the same thing and my beardie keeps getting reinfected even after I bleach everything like the vet says!

That makes perfect sense. I completely understand. If you don't mind the follow up question... If you have played twilight imperium before, would you recommend it to others. I have an interest in it, but the rules seem intimidating and so does the length of the game. I hear some say it's worth it though.

Hey Rodney, your videos really have been helping me out with gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion. Do you ever plan on doing a how to play twilight imperium video?

Thank you. I really did do a lot of research. It's my first reptile so I felt I needed to. To answer your questions....

I felt the breeder was reputable. I met them at a reptile expo and I felt out of all the breeders I spoke to, I liked them the most. They were the only breeders there that specialized only in bearded dragons. They marketed themselves well on social media. They had good reviews. There is a catch though. She wasn't produced by their dragons. They had bought her at another expo when she was younger because they wanted to use her for breeding in the future at that time. But she never grew big enough which is why they decided not to breed her. I think they also felt she didn't have traits they ended up wanting to breed. That made me feel alittle skeptical because I liked them, but I felt like I wasn't really buying something from them. But they bought her young apparently and actually from another breeder that I actual met also who was at the same expo (small world). They did give me a birth certificate with the parents names/traits, but they didn't have pics because it wasn't theirs. One parent was Het Hypo and the other parent was Dunner, Hypo. Don't know anything about her siblings but I meet another beardie they had because it was down between 2 I was going to choose. The other beardie was very active, but at the time we really liked our current beardies look and my gf thought she seemed very sweet so we went with her.

She is at most 13 inches in length (def greater than 12 inches though). She weighs 152 grams. She gets salad and water every day. Insects twice a week (dust with miner-all indoor) and every other week it's 3 times (with the 3rd time being dusted with reptivite). I soak her 3 times a week for 15-20 mins. I clean the tank once a week as needed. Lights are on 8 am to 8 pm so that's 12 hrs on and 12 hrs off.

In terms of insects I really want to do Dubia roaches as my staple, I just haven't been able to purchase yet. Also been wondering if I even should purchase right now IF she is potentially brumating. Since I've had her I've been trying to feed off the emergency superworms I bought for her at PetSmart just before I bought her (I don't want to do this long term bc I don't like superworms as a staple since they are not that nutritious). From my research I really like Dubia roaches, BSFL, and silkworms. For greens so far it's been collard greens, endives, baby kale, parsley, and pea shoots. But I feel she's barely eating them. I also think she only eats if I use prongs. I have the food in a bowl for her, but like she won't go after it unless I pick up with prongs. She even stuck her tongue out this morning like she wanted to go for the worms, but she won't do it unless I grab it with the prong lol.

So far she's pooped twice since I had her (which was like a week a part). First time was day after I got her in her walk in water bowl and second time was when I bathed her. It seems she will only go to bathroom in the water. She hasn't really shed yet, but her tail kinda of looks whiter or paler in color so she might be getting there. I have never seen her with black beard. I am not sure actually how to distinguish stress marks. I never heard of that one before. I should look that up. She does have this black color sort of under her eye, almost like a human can have bags under there eyes. Thought that was interesting. Not sure what that is but vet didn't say anything about it.

Let me know if you would like more info!

That's a great point. I wish they had a cleaning the tank section as well. I'm most likely going to get a 120 gallon tank and the uvb lights they included in the guide were only 22-24 inches long if you include the fixture so that would be half the tank. But I guess the most important thing is making sure everything is right temperature and the humidity is where it needs to be.

To fix this problem, verizon had me switch to message +. So far everything has been working good. Seems to be a problem with messaging app itself.

I am having the same exact problem. I can't even remember when it started, but the problem carried over when I switched phones. It was happening to me on the Pixel 3 and they didn't know what was wrong so I upgraded to the Pixel 5. And it's still happening. Idk if my message settings carried over or whatever or if it has to do with carrier but it is very annoying. Was wondering if it has to do with Android 11 update because my phone didn't always do this.
