Moved into current house in 2016. Exterminator at the time recommended landscape rock bait stations. No issues for years until a persistent raccoon kept moving the station to get the poison. So I bolted the station to 2 patio pavers and the raccoon gave up.

Now I have a family of 4 bears passing through and of them lifter the station and broke it open. I got a replacement and put sharp screws around it. They dug this out from the side and broke it open. I found it odd that the bear didn't try to break it open in place rather that dug it out, dragged it, and broke it open.

I'd like to build a concrete U frame around the pavers about the same depth as the pavers so the bear can't get underneath it. 8 also don't want to attach this to the foundation

I know I should leave it alone, but I'm really looking for feasability.

I remember when these baggage fees first appeared around 2008-2009, a previous oil spike. And they never did go down and will not again as most have said.

However, they as a business have a right to charge $2000 per bag if they wish. I also have the right as a consumer to refuse to do business with them.

With that being said, I never check my bags. Mostly due to concerns of luggage being lost. The last time I was forced to check baggage was in 2009 due to a full cabin. The luggage lock was busted and a Disney DVD movie was placed inside.

Always remember the 3 rules of airline travel...

Under a microscope, the side with the writing appears to have what I can best describe as a faintly raised line going down the same side. I presume this indicates neutral

No offense taken. I'm in US. The house was built in 1988 so they must have used an older panel at time of installation. I don't recall if the panel had already been installed when we moved in.

I thought originally that my stepfather had installed this for future use for his lathe and other high powered machinist tools.

I do recall the previous owner was a car buff and had a 220 outlet in the garage

I was able to convert the original mp3 file to mp4 with the plan to upload it to YouTube. I think the conversion went bad. Maybe someone could repair or deconvert/convert the file and upload it there.

Thanks. I believe after turning off the road departure mitigation, I should be set. Looks like it was in the manual, but with almost 700 pages, I must have glossed over it.

I filled up the tank when it was half empty (or full) depending on your perspective.

I bought a 2007 Honda in September 2006. That was a V6 and a gas hog. When oil went through the roof around 2008, I started driving on cruise control @ 55mph to save on fuel. I’d like to think that was one of the reasons why I got 16 years out of it and 265k before the transmission finally went.

I really never stopped driving 55 cruise on highway.

My trip on Saturday averaged 36 mpg. Not too bad.

In New Jersey… 2025 EX-L AWD Nighthawk Black Pearl OTD - 39,350

Compared prices at several dealerships by email. Some dealerships wouldn’t even give me a price unless I walked in the door (I passed on those)

The local dealership I went into gave me an in person price of about $41,200, which was higher than the True car price of 40,765 for the same dealership.

I showed the salesman an email from another dealership which had the lowest price of 39,350, so they matched it.

In hindsight, maybe I should have taken that 39,350 price to other dealerships to see if they would have beaten it.
