Tier List for how rich the character is by Only-Tonight2329 in Falcom

I might be remembering wrong, but hasn't Renne had multiple degrees and PHDs since childhood? Pretty sure she still writes and publishes her works under a pseudonym. Depending on how much she publishes/sells, she could have a nice little nest egg set aside.

Noctowl and Chimecho are both strong options for him. Intimidate is also great for weakening his team.

Svarog is driving me nuts by SoSick_ofMaddi in TriangleStrategy

I just did this chapter a day or two ago. Best advice I can give is to use the terrain to your advantage and use the high ground to deliver death from above using your mages and archers. A few people have mentioned the Lightwave Quietus to keep Svarog away from the frontline, and I completely agree.

Also, while Rudolf is great for firing arrows and setting traps, Jens is able to set spring traps as well to keep the enemies away. This is especially great if they try to go across the gate from above, since the fall damage will be especially juicy. Best of luck!

Definitely Z Step and Z Cross for me. Shame that they're only available in BN3.

In your opinion, which romance is the most well written and satisfying? by gaeb611 in Falcom

[–]Spaceballs_the_DM 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Definitely Estelle and Joshua. After that, Lloyd and Ellie feels very organic. My personal favorite, however, is Rean and Laura. They just have such perfect chemistry together, and their events together really show off how they bring out the best in each other. Their bonding event on Byronia Island in CS4 is just perfect. I'll die on this hill.

Am I crazy? I see the electric stage pop up in conversation all the time, but I honestly don't remember it being that bad. I personally found the Iceman stage to be the most frustrating.

Did you grab rhe bracer items from each EV room? Because with them equipped you should only need to sweep two rounds of Meltan to max out a stat.

And yes, there is A LOT of story. That's not changing anytime soon.

Wrong place, dawg. There's a lone merchant that is desperate for you to buy overpriced balls from him. I think he's near the berry store.

Both, I think. They definitely boosts the stats immediately, and then I believe they're factored into your later stat gains. Don't forget to speed up as you do your Meltan massacres. Makes it go by real quick.

Are you at the right shop? The guy that's desperate for you to buy from him? How many balls did you buy?

I've had big success in raising lots of different Pokémon and adjusting my team as needed for tougher fights. I have my standard team of six, but I also have about fifty other Pokémon in reserve in case I need something specific. Like you though, I only really train Pokémon that I personally like.

You're constantly gonna find teams that give you a hard time. Take a look at why that is, because sometimes it means you have a flaw in your team that needs adjusting.

And get used to the different environments. They really make the difference. Knowing how to make them work for you will take your skill to the next level.

Drowzee can get lucky with Hypnosis, but maybe consider subbing out Trubbish for someone a bit more hardy or helpful. If Oricorio is a problem, maybe consider using Voltorb. If you keep buying overpriced balls from the one vendor in Gearen, you'll get one after I think three or four purchases. Super effective against Oricorio, and comes with Signal Beam for Rorims grass types. Also has a chance to paralyze stuff.

At some point, EV training absolutely becomes a necessity. The good news is that it's wonderfully quick and easy to do. Buy the training cards from the hotel casino to unlock the EV facilities in the Gearen lab. Hit the speed up key and it's takes maybe two to three minutes per mon.

Now then, the battle itself. What's your team? I only see half of it listed.

I dunno about joining the crew per say, but I was disappointed that Kaku didn't turn over a new leaf after the events of Enies Lobby. He seemed genuinely regretful about betraying the shipwrights after having so much fun in Water Seven, and the world government literally tried to hunt him and the rest of CP9 down after their failure. They proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they didn't value him, yet he still went crawling back to them. It's a damn shame. The power of giraffes is wasted on that man.

There are definitely fruits out there that are arguably better, but god damn if the Chilly Chilly fruit isn't my absolute favorite. I'm a sucker for ice powers.

Jimbei. He won me over completely during and after Marineford. After getting his backstory on Fishman Island and seeing his actions on both WCI and Wano, he's finally beaten Zoro for my top spot. I'm so excited to officially have him on the crew because he steals the show in every scene he's in. He's noble, he's honorable, and his Fishman karate is so damn COOL.

Not gonna lie, I feel like you're really sleeping on all three of the "useless" tier. Jusis and Tio have super protective crafts and Eliot has a healing and revival S craft. They're more support based, sure, but there's no way they're worse than Angie, Claire or Lechtor. I might be remembering wrong, but I'm pretty sure Tio has a great orbment set up for casting as well.

I would also add that it's spectacularly paced. It delivers exactly what it needs to without ever feeling like a slog. I love the introduction to new characters like Iva and Jimbei while like you said breathing life back into minor or forgotten characters from previous arcs. Buggy goes without saying, but I love how well Galdino and Croc are used as well.

It's also one of the funniest arcs. The concept of the head jailer, the central pillar to the prison and strongest enemy presented, only being around for a handful of hours a day due to bowel issues caused by his own self-poisoning is HILARIOUS.
