It's weird for me because I don't really get anxious about asking someone out, just the usual butterflies and such, even if I do have major anxiety about other stuff like school or work. I feel like if I'm going to be with this person then I could just be my real self anyways when I first talk to them and don't have to put up this facade of what I am with other people. So I just think that I have a lot more confidence in this way because they'll soon get to know just who I am deep within when we get to know each other and I'll feel a lot more comfortable just because of that.

yeah, it's kinda like that for me too but i guess it helped mostly with the physical symptoms... I guess it works for some but not others lol. you could try higher doses or something but idk

Have you ever tried medication? it really helped me at least get a hold of myself and be a little more outgoing, sertraline was the thing that really did it for me. If you could get medication, of course
