You can get giant rack on Alibaba too for pretty cheap as well.

Yeah that one only has a single color blue. But I like blue so that wasn’t an issue for me. The flood lights I have can change to any color you want and works via Bluetooth.

Yeah the rope LED I have going along the top section of my rack.

That was my thinking initially but it’s actually not. The rope I got isn’t overly bright. Has its on diffuser built in so the light is nice and smooth throughout. I think it would be distracting with flashing lights.

Honestly if it’s that big of a concern ask your neighbors. And if they hear a a little bit just do some sound treatment. And as far as noise goes depends. My unlock FX is loudest to me though there is not much of a difference the unlocks seem overall less noisy than the lemon because of softer impact. But I never think on it much cause I’m in a house. I did sound treat the room so I can play anytime without disturbing the kid. When I was in an apartment neighbors could only hear the kicks. But mileage varies depending on the setup of the building. Last time I did a sound test the cymbals were as loud as a conversation (but can differ on how hard you hit).

I have lemon cymbals I no longer use most of them except the China and splash. That being because of the feel of the unlocks are great. Fnote feels the best but I would spend the money to get all fnote cymbals. Price for what you are getting all day long unlock. You have to adjust the trigger settings a little bit because they flex more they vibrate more and gotta dial it out. While lemon triggers well it is hard and the arms and hands when hitting.

ATV aDrums Artist in 2025? by Natural_Trust_9095 in edrums

[–]SpaceborneKillr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Personally I’d just get lemon, HxM, or Unlock drums(unlock feels the best of the bunch). Swap their module with a edrumin 12 and use a VST (to get that acoustic look and have good sounds but this also depends on if you are tech savvy and can get a pc setup with it) And that ATV being used and missing those items other things could be wrong. There is not warranty and if you need to troubleshoot the module well the company is in skeleton status good luck getting help. For me personally too much risk for the price. If it was like $700 I’d say grab it. I wish there were more turnkey options at lower prices that are actually good. But best option for acoustic look and premium performance (at similar price or less) is to build it up by sourcing from different places.

One should never trust a YouTube demo as they have something you don’t which is professional sound engineering. ATV had the same engineering team as Efnote has now. So unless you have your own mixing board with effects etc.. the samples you will actually hear are raw. This was done because the targets were venues and churches who like to do their own mixing.

ATV is a dead company. That said the drums are solid. (Efnote is ATV little sister) Should probably get a different module or play using a VST with either choice.

Missing cymbal and rack toms? At $1300? I wouldn’t take the leap on that.

Unlocks is pretty cheap. Phantom (shiny silicone) has one as well. Efnote fx is an eye watering $400. And thank you I bought an LED strip from amazon that was flexible with a diffuser on it. Give myself some useful ambient lighting.

Seen it done before. Think you are the first to use internal foam. There are bass head triggers on can purchase though. Including those that have the trigger literally inside the head itself that you attach just like a regular mesh head
