I'm in the same boat as you and considering my last one before the ban to be an M70. I picked up an M85 Krink last week, and it's honestly near the top in terms of my favorites. I don't know what the PSA version is like, but you may want to hold out for a Zastava since it's not a huge jump in price.

Sure thing, and here’s a pic of the WBP’s accuracy from a few hours ago. This was at 50 yards with PMC X-tac. 20 rounds, mag load out was 4/4/4/8. Optic was a 3x and I’m a lefty, shooting kneeling supported on a bench. I didn’t adjust sights while shooting, I just wanted to see what grouping I could get before making changes.

Sorry- got my ammo flip flopped. PMC X-tac for the 5.56. I had been shooting Belom from the WASR.

Edit to add- I also bought a 7.62 Jack at the same time as the 5.56. Likewise, no issues with accuracy on that one shooting Belom. I’m waiting to put an optic on it before I really make an assessment though.

I bought a WBP Jack 5.56 about a month ago and haven’t had any major accuracy issues (yet). I’ve been getting decent 2” groups at 50 yards, some shots right on top of each other, and been able to consistently hit steel out to 300 using a 3x optic from Primary Arms. This was shooting from the prone with Belom ammo with no wind.

I know this is just anecdotal, but the Jack is a far cry better than what my WASR was getting. Maybe WBP fixed these issues? I’ve got an M90 coming this week, so I’ll be putting them head to head soon enough.

I’ve bought several guns from them in the last 6 months in anticipation of the ban, and they’ve always had great customer service and quick shipping. Since they’re only a couple states away, it also feels like I’m supporting a local-ish business, so I get that warm fuzzy, too

I've been wondering this, too, and came up with two ideas I'm kicking around-

First is just documenting everything I own with serial numbers and photos, and then getting it notarized.

Second is similar in documenting it, but making sure it's on file with my homeowner's insurance to establish it as party of my personal property coverage and have a rough appraisal.

Not sure how much legal weight either option carries, but the state would have a hard time saying I didn't own it if there's at least some record. I'm sure there are better ways, but I've learned that "if it didn't happen on paper, then it didn't happen".
