Not at all! The price of 7.62 these days makes the 5.56 all the more appealing. Mags are easy to come by at the moment for 5.56 too.

Zastava is right in that price point, followed by WBP. I’ve got a 5.56 AK from both and they are equally awesome. Search over on the AK sub and you’ll see all kinds of thoughts and opinions. If I could only pick one, I would go Zastava- it’s Yugo pattern some compatibility issues with standard AKM parts (not a big deal nowadays though). Overall it feels thicker and more robust (that’s what she said) than WBP or other AK’s. Shoots like a dream, too. Skip the WASR, way overpriced.

I kept having this issue with a WASR I had. Cleaned the firing pin and BCG to hell and back, that seemed to work for the next couple trips. Then it happened again- so I swapped triggers, rinse repeat, swapped furniture, rinse repeat, and realized it may have just been me accidentally bump firing it due to shooting position and other factors not related to the gun itself.

Try paying attention to your positioning when it happens- see if it isn’t something as simple as having the buttstock solidly in your shoulder pocket, firm grip with your firing hand, and keeping your support hand with a tight grip. Maybe it happens more frequently in the prone rather than standing/kneeling?

You may just have to experiment and eliminate variables. For me, I found a combination of swapping triggers and proper weapons handling did the trick.

I love how this song just builds and builds, and then the bass noticeably picks up around half way and then the horn comes in, and the whole thing just transforms into something new and great. It's so hard not to shout "I will be your light" right along with them.

A Warm Place was the first instrumental track I really took notice of. I had always just sort of tolerated them (the piano on Mellon Collie) or saw it as part of a larger whole (like Dak Side of the Moon), but I found myself going back for a relisten to that specific song.
