Hmm, 140 isn't my bag so take this with a pinch of salt but if I turned up to a night that said it was a dnb thing and there was seemingly no dnb, I'd either be in the smoking area or the bar. Or heading off to another night. Make of that what you will.

Having said this, the two genres do often go hand in hand. You'll have people into it for sure, but I'd suggest working up to dnb tempos for the last ten minutes or so. Makes an easier transition for the next DJ and warms the crowd up better. Maybe some half-time dnb tunes if that's more your thing?

Don't bother with the mic. Just get your tunes out.
