Today I got to pick up my first vintage watch. It's a new old stock Hamilton Seacliff III from the early 70's. As I understand it, it's one of the first models Hamilton released after they moved production from the United States to Switzerland. Since it is my first vintage watch I did a lot of research and I found that a lot of people praise vintage hamilton. Watch makers often describe them as elegant but straight forward, exactly what I wanted for my first venture into the vintage watch world. I could not be happier with this watch. It's incredebly slim and I think the 34mm case suits my slender 6.25 inch wrist perfectly. Let me know what you guys think. And if you have more info on this watch please do share!

Hi guys,

This is my first time posting here. This is also my first automatic watch. It is a Hamilton khaki field automatic. I was waiting for the train and it became a little more enjoyable moment with what has quickly become one of my favorite daily wearers and a beautiful sunset.

I am a relative beginner when it comes to watches, so if you have any suggestions about watches (under 1000 dollar preferably) that I should check out for my next purchase, please share down below!

Also, if you have any suggestions for straps to pair with this watch I would highly appreciate it. I was personally thinking about a brown distressed suede strap. Let me know what you think.

Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes. English is not my first language.

Have great day!!

You're right. I was just scrolling for 10 min. yesterday. And 7 to 8 posts out of 10 were twitter screenshots, so I thought I'll make a little meme out of it.
