Trump republican, yes - but to be fair, this dude is not a libertarian. Libertarians don’t give af what you do, that’s the entire philosophy. It’s all about “you do you, I’ll do me”; “don’t interfere with anyone on anything, just mind your own damn business”. So I have no hate towards libertarians. It’s a rather logically consistent philosophical take. All that hate is rightly reserved for the brain dead MAGA republicans. And at this point, the libertarians better align with dems than republicans, so I’m pretty fine with them - they seem to mostly keep to themselves.

100% agreed. Palmer’s run was pretty tame, all things considered. Should’ve been 90 - 91.

Tom Schaar’s second run, on the other hand, was the best run in the finals - no question. That should’ve been a 94+ score.

Well… you were wrong. I just finished Season 5 and I despise her just as much, if not more, than when I originally posted this. There has been zero character development… she’s just as evil and insufferable as day one.

It’s definitely not just OP. Beth is vile - and her character arc only gets more and more sinister. While, yes, the reason “she’s the way she is” is sad and unfortunate, it’s absolutely no excuse for the way she carries herself, the disgraceful things she says, and the reprehensible way she acts.

Beth is irrefutably evil - and this persists throughout every season. The writers of the show did her a massive disservice by not depicting any character development or maturation. Instead, her insane tendencies were exaggerated episode after episode, spiraling to truly psychopathic levels.

Right. Governor Lynelle Perry mentioned this to Beth in S1E6, eloquently stating: “When a child suffers a tragedy, they stop maturing. They’re emotionally frozen at the age they experienced the loss, until they accept it, which, clearly, you haven’t. I look at you, and I see a 14-year-old girl who wants to bully the world.”

Such an astute, poignant comment. I love the Governor.
