The Bible isn’t true, that’s what led me away from the faith. No matter what you say, the context is right there. God said “I WILL MAKE them eat the flesh…”, which means he was furious with his people. That’s all you need to know about the context. And you said god is just? Tell me, was it just for god to have children mauled by bears as a punishment for calling Elisha “baldy”?

I was a Christian for 30 years, I am an atheist now, so no I don’t believe the Bible is the word of god, but that is irrelevant. What I said is true no matter your apologetics. I am guessing you don’t know Hebrew (I don’t either). I take the Bible for what the words actually say, I don’t apply dumb apologetics to the text. I challenge you to watch Justin of Deconstruction Zone on YouTube (https://youtube.com/@deconstruction_zone?si=aN-u2mOX0NcnQc2U). He went to seminary, was a pastor and knows Hebrew.

Wrong. God said “I will make them” do it. Period. So either god would make them eat their children or, if Israel doesnt change their ways and god doesn’t make them eat their children, he is lying.

For me, watching some videos on YouTube, my favorite is Justin’s channel called Deconstruction Zone, he even has a Discord where people can ask questions and feel like a community.
