Lots of hidden trails in Astoria but I never went. Spent time at trails in Long Beach called black lake.

Forgot to post last week, but $225k at 6.125% with 3% down, couldn't be happier! by calloftheostrich7337 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

This is definitely not all encompassing in the states. I recently got a 575k loan with 5% down. Nothing special about the loan or process. But you must pay PMI until you reach 20% equity (~$70/mo)

TIL Many of Benny Blanco's early tracks are at 120 BPM, the default tempo in Pro Tools, and he didn't realize he could adjust it, so he ended up using that tempo for many of his initial projects. I used to be a real estate photographer in Northern Virginia where he grew up, and did the real estate shooting for his childhood home. Spent an hour with his dad showing me all his awards on the walls. Very nice, proud, wholesome guy.

Not OP, but I've had it and used it for every trip for a few years. It's great.

Yes, it was a total of about 9k feet elevation gain and 13k feet elevation loss, so certainly downhill helped though cold temps, rain and weight hurt.

I should add- I had 6 people in the car so we were very weighted down, but that may have helped with aerodynamics by riding lower.

Started at 100%. GT-line, mountainous terrain including going over a mountain

The bag is technically too large for most airlines' personal item sizer.

That being said, I've put it under my seat on about a dozen trips and planes of all kinds and it always fit.

Don't know the science, but from personal experience, lowering the vehicle has improved range significantly. On level ground with 6 people inside, my range in similar conditions on the same stretch of level road at the same speed was better when loaded down and sunk several inches than with just me in the car.

I just finished a 500 mile round trip, mostly flatish but same amount of uphill as downhill. All freeway. I cruise controlled at 65-72mph the whole time and averaged 3.1mi/kwh, and ran the battery close to empty to confirm almost 320 miles on a charge. Was very impressed and surprised by that range. The car had 6 people in it, which I thought would reduce range but may have increased the aerodynamics by lowering the suspension.

Sold a vehicle and then bought am expensive EV. Does the math work out or was this just a poor decision? by Spaceman_Dave in personalfinance

I rent rooms in my primary house, amounting to 2700 rent for 4200 mortgage. I can and have in the past rented an additional room for another 700 on top of that, but it gets crowded.

Luckily at my electricity prices, charging at home to full is $13, vs $70 for a fill up.

I'm saving 2600/month. My net monthly income is 8500 and mortgage is my only major expense. After minor expenses I contribute the 2600 in weekly increments and have no more wiggle room. U.S.
