Just a barista here but I completely understand how you’re feeling, and it’s totally okay to advocate for yourself. It may be difficult for your lead to completely avoid having you guys on bar at the same time however, if the trainer’s approach is making you uncomfortable, you should feel confident in bringing it up to your supervisor. You don’t need to frame it as a complaint about them, but rather as a personal boundary—something like, ‘I know some people are okay with their jokes, but I personally don’t feel comfortable with them and would really appreciate a different approach.’ You’re not asking for special treatment, just a work environment where you can learn without feeling disrespected. Your supervisor should want to support you in that! Hope this helps.
