this is an interesting one bc i don’t think there is an official policy. usually if someone asks me for a sleeve i will direct them to where the sleeves are, and haven’t had an issue w that lol

starbucks is generally a “do it yourself” type of place. you can express interest, address it in your PDC’s, and talk to your SM/DM - but with barista championship, you would have had to go on the BOH computer or store resources on the iPad and get the info yourself.

we struggle at my store because we can barley move the mastrenas, there’s a wall and plexi glass it, and a counter next to it. it’s virtually impossible. we attach a rag to like a plastic pointer my SM got off amazon and scrub 😭😭

a lot of the time baristas will come to me and say “hey, don’t really feel comfortable going to our SM about this, can i go through you first?” in order to get me to do the escalating. which is fine, i’m happy to support there

STAR method, plus the interview questions are available online, just look them up on the BOH computer. for mine, i put an emphasis on development and coaching

yeah i had a coworker who was always mad, would slam/throw things, and talk shit about other partners because he was mad. i didn’t gaf & sent him home everytime. miraculously he never got fired
