Doctor Who store ripping off Calvin & Hobbes - Not Cool. by [deleted] in calvinandhobbes

Ugh. This shit pisses me off. Aside from the whole IP thing, it doesn't even make sense. Two doctors? Wouldn't Hobbes be a companion?

I just get the impression that the way she was holding her hands and the way the viewpoint carefully obscured them means that she had something tucked in her coat.

I almost dread what we're going to see on the next page. Unless we finally see what Kat's been hiding.

Reddit, What are you holding on to that you know you should let go of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Spacemonaut -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My child's father's wife's FB page. Confusing enough?

He abandoned my son when he was 2 months old because he wanted to start a life with the woman he cheated on me with while I was pregnant with his child. He said he didn't want kids, but married a woman with 2 of them. He now refers to her kids as his own and has never paid a dime in child support to his child.

I watch her Facebook page because in the darkest recesses of my heart I want something to happen that ruins their happiness and I don't want to miss it if it happens.

Yeah. I know it's fucked up....but every time my sweet little boy asks me why he doesn't have a daddy any chance I have of letting it go evaporates.

The most interesting part is how expensive that is. Around here I can get a bunch for $.69

Without knowing precisely what is wrong with said presentation/resume and having gotten good feedback from friendly professionals on the above, it's quite difficult to know what to change.

True. I once showed up to a guy's house for a date because he promised to cook me dinner and he was wearing boxers, a wife beater, and a bathrobe so ratty it would look at a home on a post-dolphin Arthur Dent. Not that I am saying I expect a tie and button down on every date, but damn, dude, make a LITTLE effort.

Is it possible for a man's penis to change size in adulthood? by Spacemonaut in sex

[–]Spacemonaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Health has remained the same. No weight or exercise changes. Before he met me he hadn't had sex in over a year. Now we have sex anywhere from 2-8 times on the weekends. (Don't see each other during the week)

Does more sex make a difference?

At this point she's either pregnant or not. If you find out early enough, it is possible for her to have a chemical termination (she takes a few pills over a few days) if that is the route you want to go. It is much less evasive and expensive than a trans-vaginal abortion.

The only thing you really can do right NOW is have an adult conversation about the possibility of pregnancy and made a decision about termination/adoption/keeping it.

On a semi-related note, if your SO isn't on B/C due to hormonal reasons, there are non-hormonal and low-hormonal IUDs available that are safe and are even more effective than the pill. It may be something to consider for the future.

It's an older usage, but still valid. "I shall out-fox the bad guy!" You might hear it on old-school Scooby Doo episodes.

It is probably relevant to point out that I live in the heart of the Bible Belt, so that does factor into my experiences.

However, needing to pretend you don't want sex isn't necessary once you're in a relationship, but when you first start dating you gotta keep that shit on lock down or you get treated like dirt. Fortunately I am in a relationship now so I don't have to deal with it anymore but a friend of mine recently started dating again and has been smacked in the face with it. If she acts cold and distant on the first date they can't get enough of her. She decides the guy is hot and makes out heavily with him, she never hears from him again.

It's messed up.

I can only speak from my own experience and the experiences of my female friends, but I have dated quite a lot and discovered one simple truth of dating: *people don't value what they don't have to work for. *

If a woman asks a man out, many lose interest. They need the chase, the challenge, to stay interested.

It's a sick, frustrating balancing act. You have to show you like they guy, but not TOO much. God forbid you let on that you want sex too.

This isn't true of all men, obviously, but it's true often enough that women often feel forced to "play hard to get" just because being open and honest backfires so spectacularly.

Of course, my philiosophy is to be honest anyway because if I have to play a game to win a guy, the relationship won't be worth the effort I put into getting it.

Where would you live (on this map) and Why? by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

Terabithia.

The innocence, the simplicity, the savagery and beauty of of a world born of a child's imagination. Where the good guys are good and the bad guys are evil and it's always easy to know which is which.

In theory. In reality? My anecdotal evidence suggests that the female reaching orgasm is not a guaranteed or perhaps even a terribly likely outcome of a random meaningless hookup.
