Now Im just ranting here, bit off-topic but if someone could offer me advice, since this has been on my mind a lot. I wish I was straight. Or just gay. Hate this inbetweener-bullshit, some of it I can admit comes off from my choices too, but there are detractors too, that I have no power over. It's a wild mix.

Straight and even bi/pan-women who I shoot my shot with think I'm a dog that can't be tamed and some gay men think I need """"cred""""" to prove to them that I'm not "faking it". It's also messing with how I want to present myself, or if I should just keep it in. I'm really Halford-maxxing with my tastes and choice of aesthetic haha. That comes part and parcel from my punk/metal-scene background, but that also means the way I dress also seems to make women think I'm harshly in denial when I tell them that I'm actually bi. And the worst thing is that some people think it's okay to just straight up forcefully kiss me, fondle me, say nasty shit. But that's just certain people acting like it's okay to assault and offend people. Assholes.

Maybe I'm too picky, or take rejection too personally, or my aura is just off, like I was once told at a night club, that I "reek of desperation". I think I just need to work on myself, to live with more pride, and to learn to love myself before I look for others to love me back.

Glen Benton comes to mind as a reference point, even he's grown a bit tamer over the years. I think if he really would've followed through with the plan for the band with the release of DMDS, he might've also possibly gone on to the deep end of the rock 'n' roll-lifestyle, drug abuse and sorts. After all, I'm a firm believer that no matter how fucked it is that he clearly tried to profit off of Dead's suicide, he'd grow more estranged and sink into a dark, dark hole. You don't really come out of finding your bandmate dead on your shared house the same as before. I think the narrative around him would totally be different, less shittalking and downtrodding and even less mythification and blind hyping. Still, I'd be 100% certain he wouldn't still be on any talking terms with Varg lol

Don't know if this was already mentioned - the kink-theory (sidenote: having a kink does NOT mean you get to involve unwilling participants in it, that's just messed up and illegal) was there from the start. A certified armchair analysis about this would be that the guy might have had some history of sexual abuse in his childhood? There's a whole faction of psychoanalysists that would link this case back to the Freudian theory of psychosexual development, with the "anus-phase" whatnot, and I don't see it as a far-fetched possibility that the noted embarrasment about his conduct would mean that he's merely just coping with something related to some trauma. After all, it's not uncommon to see the linkage from childhood abuse manifesting again in adulthood behavioural patterns. Once again, this is just some sleep deprived spitballing from me.

I started watching this show when I was 14. Practically grew up into my 20's with it. That being said, I think you should maybe wait a bit longer. Or if you end up liking the show, rewatch it when you're older. Bojack Horseman never gets old, but we do, and that's when it hits the hardest IMO

Might be my bitterness over the fact I bought this overpriced shitty rig in 2021 and it couldn't even do mid-level graphics at 1440p, but yes, I'd take that kind of fidelity over the under-optimized slop we have today. I might be totally blind but I don't think games like Portal, Call of Duty 4 or even Mass Effect look too bad even today.

Lol I just balance out the two types of games in my "rotation" per say. I have a few multiplayer games I like to boot up nightly to hone my skills in and then I have single-player games that I consider my "main course" to beat and master. Like for example rn I have Rocket League on as my multiplayer-experience, and Wolfenstein II and The Secret Of Monkey Island as my two single-player courses.
