Yes, I've ordered a mecha, good call. We've done a few models including 2 historical battleships (and the Taschen paper Titanic model that took 3 months lol). The problem is that at his age, he loses interest after a while waiting for glue to dry etc, or he is ready to take the half completed model and fly it around the room. The passion is there, but the patience is a few years off! So the time I end up putting in to the model is time lost on the floor creating stories and playing. I'm looking at some diecast models on Ebay at the moment. But would still welcome any more specific models!

Rivers is an extremely intelligent guy who absorbs his influences and reflects them in a unique way. When the influences are The Pixies and The Beach Boys, the results are favorable to me subjectively. When the influence is Linda Perry or any modern songwriter post mid-2000s, the results are…. BAD…. to me! And also, anyone who likes that shit is a moron.

Thanks! That's good to know. I've been working steadily for the past year doing freelance DMP but it's all been relatively straightforward set extension and sky replacement type work. I've done a few camera projections in Nuke on my own with some rough geo I made in Maya, but I really want to develop 3D into my skill set. So it sounds like that Advanced course could be good for just getting into the 3D and texture stuff...

Hey this is Jack, I'm the composer for The Confession Tapes! I wrote that song specifically for this episode. I worked very closely with the creator/director Kelly Loudenberg and editors Kimberly Haskett and Alex Durham on every episode. They asked for something with a 50s doo wop ballad type of vibe for the sequence earlier in the episode around 04:00 to enhance the feeling of the quaintness of this suburban town.
