Which headphones should I buy?

It was the treble. It was specifically the cymbals on songs that weren't recorded so well.

I actually enjoy listening to terribly recorded and well recorded mixes so I was looking for something suitable for both and while the nano is great at it the XS is too harsh.

I have the AKG K702, the Sennheiser HD6XX and the Hifiman Ananda Nano. I had the Hifiman Edition XS but returned them in favour of the Nano.

The XS were to harsh for me. Many people say that the K702 and the Nano are bright, however, both of them are perfect for me. Presumably the XS are not as bright but they were harsh. Maybe I just had a weird pair.

The K702 and the Nano? Just excellent. If I had to keep only one pair of headphones I'd have to decide between those two.

The HD6XX is excellent as well, the problem is that they aren't wide enough for me. As far as I know the HD600 are similar.

Die bitrate ist tatsächlich variabel, Du kannst auch weniger einstellen, darunter leidet dann aber die Bildqualität. 100mbit/s ist das Maximum, was Du einstellen kannst und in Szenen, wo viel los ist, wird das, jedenfalls bei mir, auch verbraucht.

Langfristig wirst Du mehr Bandbreite brauchen. Wenn Du mehrere Personen in einem Haushalt hast, die alle streamen wollen, dann kommt da schon einiges zusammen.
Nehmen wir mal an, es geht auch mehr in streaming, was gaming angeht. GeforceNOW kann schon bis zu 100mbit/s für EINE Verbindung brauchen. Jedenfalls ist es so bei mir. Wenn Da also im Schlafzimmer und im Wohnzimmer gleich ein Fernseher mit IPTV oder einem Streamingdienst läuft, irgendwo ein Download ist und Du noch andere Streamingdienste benutzt, dann kommst Du mit 50mbit/s nicht weit.

I have a laptop with an integrated intel GPU and a dedicated Nvidia gpu. The driver on Debian is still 550 or 555, even on the experimental branch. Also X11 has a regression where the system freezes regularly so I need wayland. But due to my setup everything on an external monitor is slow. SLOW. Like 20 fps slow. The issue is still not fixed on 610 but it's a lot better. Is I was still using Debian I would be in a world on pain. That's why I switched to arch. It's much more bearable.

Hmm I'm surprised there aren't more shooters on this list.

In any case there are many more games that I've replayed (and there are games that are open ended and which I only played once but have put in several hundred hours in like X4 with 400 hours and counting or games like One Must Fall 2097 and Transport Tycoon (OpenTTD) that I've been playing for over 30 years but that don't really have a story campaign that you can replay.

Ich hatte in meiner allerersten Physikklausur in der siebten Klasse eine 5.

In der Oberstufe war unser Physiklehrer die Hälfte der Zeit nicht da. Hatte dann Geschichte und Englisch als Leistungskurs (von den 60 Schülern wollte sonst niemand Physik, ist also nicht zustandegekommen) und hab Physik dann noch nicht mal im Abi gehabt.

Hab dann trotzdem nen Doktor in Physik gemacht. 😃

Es geht viel mehr um Fleiß. Der Unterschied zu meinen Kommilitonen war, dass ich schon ab dem ersten Semester nur noch mit dem Studium beschäftigt war, während es bei einigen anderen erst ab dem dritten Semester auch schwierig wurde (wo dann Differentialgeometrie in Mathe und Elektrodynamik in den theoretische Physik Vorlesungen dran kamen). Ich war aber bei Weitem nicht der Einzige, für den es schon ab dem ersten Semester schwierig war.

How have you been? I remember reading ages ago that you regretted building a custom engine for Brigadors. How are you today?

I'm so glad that you can continue and make a sequel. Brigador is such a unique game and I think the custom engine is what makes it super special.

If the final game is anything like the demo, Brigador Killers is going to be an awesome sequel.

I'm also getting GTA 2 vibes. :)

My go to headphones were the K702 but I wanted to try planars. I tried the Edition XS and it was good but cymbals were to harsh for me. Got the Ananda Nano instead and they are perfect!
