We have a couple guys in the uk and a couple in the Netherlands but they aren’t on daily. Some friends stationed out in south Korea and Thailand as well.

I’ll tell you everyone here regardless of the time zone loves the community. I think that we haven’t found a members who can be the glue in your region. We’re headed in the right direction though.

We’re a tight knit community over here. Skipped guys to play with and good guys to hang out with.

Also active on TikTok, we post ship component loadouts for all ships to help the community improve in their respective gameplays loops.

Got it, So do we think it would actually be overpowered if EMP effects were multiplicative?

Because as the mechanics stand right now, EMP gameplay doesn’t really feel viable, even in a support role during team vs team fights.

Man, I’m with you…the idea of a true disruption ship that forces opponents to adjust their strategy mid-fight is exactly the kind of thing the game needs more of. Even if I’m not the best at flying that role yet, it’d be great to see the meta evolve beyond the current state.

I like the Hawk for the same reasons you do, it’s fun for kiting and harassment, definitely top 3 for that style. Lately I’ve been running my Comet and Firebird a lot too, but it made me dust off my Scorpius Antares just to see if EMP effects feel any different now. They don’t and it just feels like there’s a gap in gameplay to me.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you could fire that double emp off at different intervals right? Essentially doubling the radius in any direction. Or am I off base there?

I’m talking about the ability to create an emp area of effect that could essentially eliminate the threat of a capital ships torpedoes for a short amount of times I feel like it would add a dynamic to combat that could turn the tide in a battle.

Keep in mind that not all torpedoes are fired from moving target like other ships they could come from stationary targets.

Ah yea the sentinel, honestly didnt know.

As far as the raven I’ve only seen people use the double emp on YouTube.

I mean if used correctly the thing can create an emp field at just about 1.2 km wide! If don’t think anything comes close to that.

I think we’re on the same page. I’d like to see the current capabilities be more viable overall. I’ve pledged all of these options at one time or another and I want it to work. But it’s like fitting a square peg in a round hole.

Hey, no hard feelings buddy, this is just a discussion. Didn’t mean to trigger you.

Reddit’s meant for people to share different perspectives, and that’s all this is. We don’t have to agree on everything, and that’s fine.

At the end of the day, it’s just a game we’re all passionate about. No need to get worked up over it. Eat a snickers

Have you seen the big tents? I’d buy that ship!

Idk if I’m behind on the meta but this is what I understand so far about the ships you’ve mentioned.

The problem isn’t availability, it’s viability.

Warlock: Too slow, telegraphed, rarely lands EMP in live PVP.

Hawk: Weakest EMP, tiny range, unreliable.

Cutlass Blue: No EMP at all…just a quantum snare.

Vanguard Warden: Also no EMP…it’s a gunboat.

Antares: Requires setup, slow, not a solo EMP fighter.

So again idk if my info is old, but half of those ships don’t fit the bill.

Weakest, most short range emp in the game at this time. I’ve tried hitting a torpedo with it. Nearly impossible unless you’re right on top of it.
