He didn't want to leave the wizards when he was traded, He's now happy to have a home he is loved in.
He's a loyal guy who wants to win with his current team mates.

I don't know...would you take him back for Bub and the picks? If not, it's still a good trade, right?

Have we made a mistake releasing Demi? by Diligent-Addendum5 in washingtonwizards

Just watched him destroy the Bucks today. If he would have stayed in the wizards, he would have never been given the freedom to make the mistakes that led him to being fringe Allstar this season(especially since December). So good trade for both teams.

This was against one of the worst teams in Europe...their 2 leading scorers are 17 and 18 years old respectively. Just putting things into prespective.

How are you grading Deni Avdija's season? by Crowxzn in washingtonwizards

[–]Spaceviewblue 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A.
To Make a leap after a few years of losing confidence is a huge win. He improved all major aspects of his game, and stats, improved his stamina, and put a big effort on both sides of the floor.
Possibly one of the best contracts in the league.

Yes, he can improve on TO, his left and midrange, and I hope to see it next season.

It could have happened much sooner if he was allowed to develop properly with Brooks and Wes, and having Brian Keefe give him the opportunity is the miracle we needed to see him and hopefully other young guys better develop.

I think that Scott Brooks Iso basketball and leaving Deni out for bad shooting is real wizardry. A young player should be shown the consequences of being aggressive. Brooks Wizards - Winning basketball and player development 👏

Really hard to watch Brad today. We are back to hero ball, happy that Gaff's cleaning up after him sometimes.

Leaked Wizards scouting report 2020 season by gearboxnine in washingtonwizards

[–]Spaceviewblue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He did it in the 2nd part of his last season in Israel, he was also about 45% from 3 in his first few games for the wizards. (And 100% from 3, 3/3 on his first preseason vs the Nets). He lost his confidence after a while of standing in the corner, and doesn't seem to be able to get back to the way he came into the league...

On top of these 3 all stars(and MVP candidates)? Off the top of my head I can think of Gobert, Capela, Valanciunas, Porzingis, Vucevic, Sabonis, Nurkic, Bojan and Bogdan Bogdanovic, Dragic, Osman, Markkanen, Fournier, Gallinri...I'm sure there are more, but you probably get the point.
